I was in the unfortunate position of not being able to return from a 0.0 trip last night, I knew they were going to make the npcs harder so i scouted the belts in my pod, granted at the time I was 38 jumps from empire space, so I expected to come across extraordinarily difficult npcs. In one belt 12 npcs, 6 guristas with 1 million isk bounties, 4 with 85k bounties, and 2 55k bounties. Needless to say I was in awe .   ____________________________

yep, no more npc hunting, no more mining in 0.0 space without a LARGE escort

Yup, just went to a belt to check out the npc rats and had to leave very quickly as a hail of missiles approached at great speed.
This will put a dent in small scale 0.0 mining for sure.
So far so good tho....patch seems great

Watch out!
Those 1 million ISK pirates show up in a moa, but they don't fight like it!
I think there is a glitch with the graphics. I *think* the 1 million isk pirates are actually BS pirates.

Well, you can forget about mining... I logged in, jumped intto ship (slow as hell) went to belt, initiated mining lasers and nothing.... No ore appears in carg o hold. LOL
Same for all other miners. Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.

yeah i'm sure the new npc's will help bring balance to the markets *cough *cough i mean at least ship demand will go up with the 16 rats i saw in 1 belt, now to figure out how to get all the ore needed to meet the demand. at least it will bring some excitement although the days of ninja mining may be back among us.

I'm hitting almost every shot, look sgood to me. Other than the 5 scorp BS NPC pirates comeing up fast in the rear view mirror

The Npc's went hardcore now it's going to make hunting in a crusier alot more interesting now. i wonder what they drop now ?

I think its great that people now shall group up to hold a belt safely. It makes more coop and teamplaying...
And 1mill in bounty = thats just great for those who now guard the belt while the others mine, so its still profitable and the action we waited for...

Sure, nice and dandy and all. Were our corps before had 1-2 to guard a mining op, now we will need like 4-5 times that. sigh. I would think the price of megacyte and zyd just went through the roof...

CCP intended player prices to land somewhere near twice the amount of what NPC bought for, sure they miscalculated it some but in the end it's all good, more money through bounties to buy those expensive goods for...

Just a thought..... Why is a 1mil bounty for a BS npc crazy? You HAVE to risk a BS to get it... so let's do the maths; 50k bounty rats against your cruiser (say 5-6mil ) a bit less than 1/10 of your cruisers' price in bounty excluding mods. so why shouldn't BS npc's give you a bounty of say 5 mil as you risk quite a lot to get: crap loot atm+the bounty That is ofcourse cause they're quite tough atm ... killing a player fighting BS would result in getting at least 3-4 mils from modules/guns and that's if you're realy unlucky and 50% of his stuff is blown up. ummm....rant rant rant... sorry the reboot has gotten into me
