There's this streaming music/radio website called Pandora and the Music Genome Project. I used to listen to a variety of internet radio stations at work until I found this.
The premise is simple....
You take 10 seconds and create an account. It asks you for a band (you can type in one or more bands), so for all you kids out there, you would put in "LazyTown" or some similar crap. It then will play for you it's suggestion. You give it either a thumbs up or a thumbs down. If you rate it either up or down, it'll update it's algorithm thingy and give you more personalized results.
When I first tried it I was certain it wouldn't have any of the obscure bands I like. But it did, and it's suggestions are about 75% decent.

I thought you said audiophiles, the streamed audio is at a horrible quality. :/

I agree is sound quality isn't the greatest, but I use it at work. I don't really think it would fly with the boss if I brought in some subwoofers and some 12" speakers for my computer. I personally don't have a problem with the sound quality.
The big deal about this is that it links bands together and creates a path for you to find new music. I've found bands that I don't think I would've ever come across.

Very cool, and handy! One has to wonder about the legality of this though.. free online music sounds shady ;)

I like last.fm because it picks up the music youŠve been listening to and you get neighbours regarding your musical taste and your own radio station and such. It has a lot of neat options that let you expand your musical horizont  . Sure will check out your link though.
