The latest Meridian Dynamics recruiting vid, I'm interested to know what everybody thinks, please make comments so I know what needs to be fixed, I love the new logo Esdi made for our corp at the very end of the vid!!!!

There's a shot of a raven getting it's ass kicked in there, and and others of big ships getting killed by only 8 frigs. And they're cheap too lose. Hop in that frig and we'll cause some mayhem.

The part I was talking about was the "Raid enemy territory" part, just a frig fleet, and only 8-10 people at that.

The reason for the zoom was some intel channels and such that should not be public knowledge... :)
When I'm frapsing a battle now I try to shrink the windows so I don't have to do it anymore, live and learn...

Many thanks for all the comments and idea's, EvE vids are funny things. They never quite feel finished... :) You just have to eventually say "it's done". We've got a higher quality slightly different logo to replace the one at the end that will be incorperated into the next vid.

The idea was that I (Skivy G solo) can't handle stuff like that, but as a corp ie backup we can. Don't get me wrong Awox, this isn't a we kicked your ass vid, I by no means am invincible....

I had actually finished all of the text for the vid, when Esdi suggested I use this font, it was a pain in the ass to switch everything to the new font, but was way worth it.

That's the idea, there's such a "oh no, 0.0 that's too scary" stigma around moving out there, but the sooner you do it the easier it is. You don't have to have a 3 year old char to be out there. We had frigs with us when we took out 3 carriers the other day, it was an awesome fight.
If you're a newer player, don't hide in empire space the whole time, get out there and find out what EvE is really about!!!!

Music from the "Gladiator" movie has always been one of my favorites, after downloading it via ITunes I realised that it could be used to make an awesome EvE vid. I had to go and get the music via bittorent because of that new fancy piracy protection M4A audio files or something to that nature.

The POS part looked pretty good the way it jumps to the music, but after everything was said and done, and I watched it again a couple days later, it bothered me too. It's near the top of the list for things I wish I had done.

Thanks for all the positive feed back :) I'm in gathering frapsage mode atm, and can't listen to a song without thinking about what eve footage would go good with it...
These vids don't happen over night, but stay tuned and there will be another one.
