Any ideas on how to tank this? I want something to go in, kill all the triggers, and sit there and tank the full aggro spawn while I warp in with DPS ships and go to town. I'm not sure DPS wise exactly how much I need to tank but I'd assume at least 3000 or so. EFT warrioring hasn't brought me any good results yet. I don't mind spending on faction gear but high-end complex/officer stuff is out of reach. |

Not if you just "sit there."
For speed tank pve, you don't actually need something as small as a cruiser. Run around with a big Mach and see all the miss animations. Rats hit badly. |

mach does have losest sig out of any battleship... but still, even adding an afterburner to a raven and keeping speed up will significantly reduce damage from pve enemies. |

Passive shield tanked Broadsword would be my first choice. Use amps instead of hardeners as the elite cruisers like to neut you to hell. Onyx might work also with the range from missiles but it has an enormous em hole. If you have the skills for minmatar command ships you may be able to make them work

I mean, flying around, identifying the triggers, picking them out, waiting for warpins for the DPS boats etc...

I used to run those missions in a Navy Apoc with A type em/therm hardeners & repper with 1 EANM. It could tank just about the whole thing. I've since moved on from being a carebear. |
