Server is UP & it shows Server Down & i'm unable to connect - seems to be a major bug!
Please Dev - Polaris - Need help ASAP !

please check your Firewall's program list. Zone Alarms prevents the client from connecting unless u ublock it manualy.

trust me, I doubt zonealarm is the problem. Im having the same exact problem, have had it on chaos since they went from 1349-1350 I think it might be server side but not sure.... Now that live is patched to castor Im having the problem and it's starting to get very aggravating, CCP support on this is horrible. I understand there are problems in game, but get everyone connected first at least....

OMG u were right - not even launched Zonealarm prevent access to internet.... that's so ghey.

Ok. I had this issue after one of the first major patches after release. Here's how to fix it:
1. reinstall EVE into a new directory (other than the current one) so even after you delete it, use a different name / location for the directories you install it into.
2. if that doesn't work (and it didn't for me but did for some people), you have to reformat your hard drive. That is what I did and the game worked fine after that.

Cao Cao mate, stop telling people to reformat...If you can't launch EVE, petition it from Support section of the webiste and provide your Dxdiag file with it.

well ever since i installed that update its been saying server down and i connot conect
Caldari will once again rise above the gallente and take back Caldari prime!

humm you work in tech support right? They always seem to fix everything with a reformat

reformatting was my own solution to it, and it worked.
so stfu negotiator. I am just sharing my own experience with this problem.
