So here goes.. having tried out some of the new BCs and with the experience of the old BCs.. here's the intriguing thread of the week! Which BC in your honest opinion would you crown the King of PvP? Solo-wise, gank-wise, fleet-wise,etc. Share your setups and your experiences! I for one love the Hurricane. But that's just because it looks the best out of the 4 lol. Comments?

Uhm, using my non-nos myrm i took on a nighthawk with ease. woot. Its fastish, tanks well, does lots of damage, has great slot layout, looks sexy. What more do you need. A t2 version, thats what! But ya with proper investment the myrmidin will rival most command ships so long as the owner hasn't shoved a loada faction and officer stuff on there. Myrm is a VERY versatile ship.

I was actually suprised that my cap was doing so well. Didn't know he was less nosf and more guns. The fight lasted a while since he kept trying to pop my drones. I had to pull them in alot. With his drones and blasters, he was doing fair damage. Strong myrmidon tank still stayed above 80% armor. Yes, I have killed domi's with a full rack of nosf. For the extra, No A myrm can't beat a pilot that is equally as good with his domi. As for the post about the Drake being "unkillable" An active tank can tank a BS's damage. You need a Pith B-type large booster though. With a cap injector, the tank can run for 5 minutes against a ship with nosf if everything goes well. But the damage output is nothing really special. Myrm can tank a drake with ease. Myrm may have a small drone bay but if you know how to scoop your drones, you have little to worry about. Also.. Heavy drones are much better than mediums. If you loose 2x ogre II's your still gonna be doing more damage than if you were using 5x hammer II's. Heavy and medium drones can easily be the difference between tankable and not tankable. Passive tank drake is much more efficient and against a cruiser it is "unkillable" but a passive tank other than good faction fitting can not tank the damage of a decent BS, or good BC. While a good tank on a BS or BC will be able to tank the drake just the same. Lucy Liusius	Posted - 2007.02.25 12:27:00 - [14] I love my Harbinger 7 t2 beams 2 sensor booster t2 2 tracking comps t2 2 heat sinks t2 1 dam control t2 other mods to fit guns and such Optimal range 72 km with t2 sniper lenses Its a really good intie killer at that range , they go pop in 2 vollys 200 wrecking and about 70 to 80 per shoot with t2 pulses its pure evil , got a 518 wrecking shoot once hehe

I had this great idea of finding your setup from a lossmail on your killboards, but there are no drakes there. Maybe it is unkillable!?!?!?! I have a passive drake that can rep like 260hp/sec raw (that's w/ no resists taken into account) and once you take into account the resists, you're looking at 800+ dps tanking ability, PASSIVELY. While still dealing a huge amount of damage out (7x HL2s). I tanked a Domi and a Tempest with it, and sat there and laughed as my cap went to zero, yet my tank held just fine and I continued to do damage while ECMed (FoFs don't you know) while my mates shredded both BSs. No Myrmidon can do that. Nos it and break it's cap, no more tank. Pop it's drones, no more DPS. Replacements? Not if you're running heavies. Don't run heavies you say? No DPS if you use mediums. Best BC? I'd say EOS. Good DPS with guns, good tank, flexible slot layout, decent drone bay (2 sets of heavies). IMO it's as near to perfect as you can get for a BC sized ship. The Hurricane is fun too with 6x guns and 2x med neutralizers (not nos). It's funny what happens to another BC when it's hit with the equivilant of 5+ heavy nos. Low Grade Halo Set anyone? Everyone is having a stupid contest, and you're in first place!

Drones are quite useless in anything bigger than 5vs5 and myrmidon with 5 heavys is just waiting to become sitting duck. Meds are crap. For t2, sleipnir all the way. Nighthawk can have sick tank, but it lacks dps & mobility. -------- .....
