Some of you play EvE Online (latest client) with Transgaming Cedega 5.2.10? If yes, can I please have the parameters I need to make the game function?
With default parameters the game hang on splash screen, even before I can enter my user id and password.
EvE Online is the only windwos sosftware I want to use so I do not like the idea to install an entire operative system just for a game...
I have a 64 bit AMD and an ATI x800
Can someone help?

I've been told it works fine with regular WINE, so try the latest version.

General tab: Winver: winxp, engine: 5.2.10 use pthreads: default Desktop: no
Xvidmode: checked.
Managed: checked
Mozilla control: checked
Scheduler: Yes (no if single core).
Decrease winserver priority: checked unless single core
Accelerated interprocess: checked
Free Type and Xrender checked
Audio tab: Alsa checked. default on both boxes and mmap unchecked.
Graphics: This one you will need to tweak independently of my settings as I am using an nvidia 7950GT.

My problem is that the game hang on splash screen... I do not reach even the point that allow me to put in userid and password, even with your setups... It if very strange... Cedega say to me that he passed all test for my computer... may it is the ati x800 ?
Damn you can run EvE with Xgl active and I cannot even run it on normal x11!!! and I have payed 4 days ago another entire year of eve! Thanks god a friend can train skills for me, but I want also play!

Does 3D work in general?
Update your ati drivers, whatever driver ati users use these days with linux.
I can report that it works fine using NVidia and if you're gonna use linux for longer you should really look into getting a Nvidia one next.
However, it should work for now anyway, it's just connected with some struggle.

Just a shot in the dark, but its possible you don't have the arial.ttf file in this directory:
.cedega/c_drive/windows/"fonts folder"
If that's not there things will have issues, and I had this very problem with the last patch. Some have it already, and some don't, but its possible. The crossover mac folks have black screen for logins if this isn't there. (crossover 6.0 wine for macs).

You said you have a 7950GT, I have a 7900GT, so I guess I can use your settings :)

It seems that now I can enter the game for a short period... after a bit I am plaing (5 minutes) the game simply exit without any reason... someone experienced that?

Ok all is ok now... stable and even more fast than under windows... no comment on that...
I get only some pixel errors on characters potraits sometimes...

I get that in windows, some kind of bug with the rendering engine for portraits.
