ôAfter careful consideration, the DSA management would like to clarify the position of their alliance to the EVE community. DSA will not surrender under any conditions to the Red Swarm. DSA refuses to withdraw from the pastime known to the Red Swarm as ôthe great warö. DSA posts publicly that our allies remain the same and that we will join them in destroying the Swarm and their slave entities. And DSA condemns publicly the corruption which follows the Swarm wherever they go.ö /Signed Wrayth Osu President Distant Star Alliance

you called redswarm corrupt, and i ask why. if you cant answer the question then dont call them corrupt.
EDIT - could you elaborate abit on the bpo thing please, this is something ive missed and i'd like to hear more.
well Munchy, you seem to have problems comprehending what you are reading. You haven't indicated that English isn't your first language (if it isn't, just say so and well let it slide), but since you haven't, let me spell it out for you.
the line says "... corruption which follows the Swarm...."
the key word there is "follows". Thus, we are not accusing the Swarm themselves of being "corrupt", it's just our way of saying they are ruining the regions they are rampaging through.
So off on your way to some other thread mr goonie apologist ____________________________________________________________________ Wrayth - "These are not the carebears you are looking for." Pirate - "These are not the carebears we are looking for." |

you are infact right and i apologise, english is my first language (i guess i should have payed abit more attention at school)
i missenterpreted what you said, though i would like to know in what ways they are 'ruining the regions' that they control/invade.
also, you should try being abit more civil, im not actually a massive fan of goonswarm myself, im more of a hater of people who throw around accusations without backing them up.
now maybe you will stop the name calling and use these forums for their intended purpose, discussion.
more civil? I only responded in kind. I am the OP. You responded with a post that is usually viewed in these parts as an attempt to derail a thread. And it was based on a mis-comprehension of my post. I then responded with a post that mocked you attempt to mock me (the whole 4tw bit). I was also trying to give you a chance to go back and re-read my post so that you could see your error. Instead you failed to do so and instead continued to press your mis-conception. (and make some refernce to something about a bpo which I have never mentioned) At this point I was forced to spell out your error and I chose to do so using a language convention called "sarcsim", which is commonly used for "humor" not "lack of civility".
Yes, I stooped to name calling. sorry 'bout that.. couldn't resist at that point.
Have a nice day. ____________________________________________________________________ Wrayth - "These are not the carebears you are looking for." Pirate - "These are not the carebears we are looking for." |

Is it true that you were created by LV as a holding alliance for purposes of standings and that you were populated solely by Omist tenants that paid LV cash to be there?
Yep
Quote: It is odd that you would post this incredibly brave statement just a day after you were in negotiations on how best you were to surrender to our forces. I believe the sticking point was whether or not you were able to pay the cost we had dictated to you.
Would you like me to post that log for everybody to see? So that everybody can high-5 you and acclaim your bravery for standing up to the horrible mean nasty Goon menace? It's really a good log and truly captures the essence of "DSA BRAVERY" to the fullest.
I'm pretty sure that most people would feel that a wise leader would take time to consider all options. I'm not stupid, DSA is a small alliance that had very little unity, maily because of how/why it was formed. I have no illusions as to our inability to defend the region against your alliance. LV handed complete ownership of the alliance to me about an hour before our "chat". We were directed to talk to you about what our options were, I expected some cordial conversation. I didn't expect to be greeted by some one who in his introduction of himself, makes a clear point of what a jerk he is and that he "doesn't even play the game" that we are discussing, but here are the terms of your surrender. I decided to see the dicussion through and it would have been foolish of me not to try and get the best deal I could. If for no other reason than it bought the members of the alliance who wanted to leave a few days to evacuate. I asked what few questions that I knew my members would ask. It would have been irresponsible of me to do otherwise.
As for our posts here today, they were a bit of role-playing fun. I'm not sure if the forum rules allow for you to post the chat, I don't really care if you do, so long as you do a "find and replace" on our screen names so they don't get published to the whole world. But I think that it will do more to show people the true attitude of Goonswarm leadership, than it will show me to be "less than brave" as you imply. Mostly it will show that you didn't have the decency to show some level of respect to another group of human beings, just because your 20 times larger than they are.
Quote: By the way our offer is off the table. Pack your crap up and get back to empire.
Yeah, that kinda went without saying. ____________________________________________________________________ Wrayth - "These are not the carebears you are looking for." Pirate - "These are not the carebears we are looking for." |
