You will need to travel to one of the offices and submit an application. After that, it is up to each corporation to determine how they screen new hires. If you're just starting out in the game and you're reading this post, you're probably wondering "what can a corp do for me?". Well, I was in your position and here's what I've experienced so far: * Corp members protect you * You're given solid unbiased advice * You're invited to difficult missions to taste new things while helping out a senior corp member * People selflessly help you out by hauling or donating items or ships * You get to be a part of something real; we believe in our goals and work towards them * You're not pressured into being a corp slave * Your fellow corp members are mature, funny and all round great folks * You're given space to grow, adapt and gain experience in many areas without being forced into a single role So what do you have to do in return? * Fly mining operations now and then * Act as part of a team, which sometimes means running a more boring job like hauling * Be available to help out a corp member in need What about the veteran EVE player? Well here I'm less of an expert. Perhaps you're looking for a change from 0.0 stress. Maybe you're tired of the way your corp is running things, or perhaps your corp is getting toward the end of its lifecycle (some do). Moons of Pluto has mature veteran EVE players just like you who want to work toward something tangible and lasting. Moons of Pluto is quite simply the best thing to happen to me in EVE. As this is an adversary to the Caldari Navy, you would indeed find it hard to find a quality agent in these fields. Oddly enough, most of our experienced members had also been Caldari Mission *****s for a very long time, so it took them some time to raise their current Federation Navy standings (most are back up to high quality level 4 agents). So, although not necessarily a fact that would keep you from being a member, it is an obstacle. Your choices would be (1) to continue to do Caldari missions, and thus probably miss out on most of the group activity or have to travel far to join, (2) start mostly over and work your way up into Federation Navy missions, or (3) work for the few Caldari corporations which can be found in the Sinq Laison region such as kaakakliota or Wyrokomi. This thread does have some old posts, but that is only because we have continued to recruit for some time. We did take a slight break for about a month, month and a half, mostly because I was a bit lax in my duties over the summer. Our corporation, like the Universe of Eve is very dynamic. We have several old members who are loyal and settled who will never leave, but we also have many members who stop through on their career paths, only to leave and do other things. Some may return, some may start their own corporations, or others may simply decide they wish to pursue a different dream. Whatever it may be, it seems that recruiting is a constant, as there is always room for one more friend, and who knows just where the new leaders may arise from.
