I just got done reading the EVE Chronicle The Titans. And I was amazed to read this sentence. "Their mind-boggling mass can cause small ships to become trapped in the gravity bow-wave before them." With the amazing size of these bahemoths I would not be surprised if they truly do have a gravitational pull. But does this truly happen ingame. Do small ships like frigates really get sucked in by Titans?

The previous replies are joking - the Titan doesn't suck ships or objects in.
Too bad, it would make a kickass looter if it did. :) ------------ Ezra Cornell

I don't remember where it was said, but appearantely the Titans that we have in game are actually smaller versions of the actual original Titans. These have been made to be affordable by pod pilots.

actually titans are tiny in comparison to celestial objects. the mass of our moon is 7.35*10^22 kg, while the leviathan is only 1.8*10^9 kg, so meh.. -----

I'll be sure to test that when I'm lucky enough to see one.

Correct. The chron listed in the OP even mentions:
For the construction of an Amarr corporationĘs newest fleet addition, a lush, tropical moon was decided as a prime source for resource extraction. After decades of aggressive strip-mining, the moon's surface had been mostly torn away. At the cost of tens of thousands of Minmatar slave lives, the Titan was complete, leaving the moon a devastated, tectonically unstable hell.
If it took an Empire decades of mining to build one of their titans, how could anyone honestly expect a player titan to be even close to it?
I hope CCP holds an event for the factional warfare launch, with the Amarr sending one of their titans towards the republic. The one Sarpati stole had what, 15million hp? That was before the RMR hp boost, and the 400% capital HP boost in Kali, so now it'd likel have closer to 75-80million hp.

it would be cool if i could trow my frigate in a gravity loops around the titans so i dont have to fit a AB on them.
would be even more fun if a missle was about to hit it, but ran out of gass, and the gravity of the titan would suck in those missles and still have them explode on impact :p
