There was a really great research thread I ran across a few weeks ago that I now cannot find. I know I have to be looking over it but I need help finding it.
The article had someone do a ton of research and came out with how you could be in a mining barge in 2 days as a minmatar or come out shooting gallente t2 small hybrids. Can someone please link me either to those great spreadsheets with the nifty stars or to the article and approximate post I can find them in?

Any Industry/mining character that starts with industry 5 should be able to get in a barge within a few days, since everything else is lvl 4 or less.

I'm sure that is true...but this topic and sheet also showed and explained the different races out and what skills you started with now. Anyone?

I can tell you what its not..
Caldari Achura Stargazer Industrialist Prospector
that gave refining 5 and mining 5, industry was 3.

IDK how that is possible to be in a mining barge in 2days. I think that is impossible, cause when i started my char i spec'ed toward being in industry/miner and its still took me about 9days or so to get in one.

I stand somewhat corrected. An Amarr Amarr can get mining 5, industry 4, science 3. That leaves industry 5, science 4, astrogeology 1-3, and mining barge.

Look here: Eve Character Creation Skillpaths
Look at Minmatar - Industry - Engineer. Industry 5 Mining 2 Science 4
Needs: Mining from 2 to 4 Astrogeology 3, preferably 4 Mining Barge 3 (Retreiver's the only barge to start in)
For Gallente and hybrids, try this: Gallente - Military - Soldier
Gunnery 5 Controlled Bursts 3 Small Hybrid Turret 5 and Gal Frig 3

Thanks for everyone's replies but this is still not the one I'm looking for.
This person had done a lot of research and had it all planned out and explained...for example:
"minmatar characters appear to be able to shoot T2 racial weapons from the gate by doing this, this, and this." It was a really well researched and explained thread...if someone can find it...I will wire them 5 mil isk because I think it was absolutely the best thread I've seen yet.
The graph was color coded by race and had black stars under each skill you started with by picking a certain race and career path. hope this helps you all out there.

Amarr and Gallente Engineers get two of the three, leaving just Frigate (Rank 2) from I to V and Spaceship Command I to III. Should take around 13-15 days. You do of course need Tech 2 guns and other assorted modules, but its still cool.
* Caldari Engineers get Laboratory Operation at 5, so you can install 10 research jobs fairly soon.
