My nanofibers don't increase cargo space any more (and their info doesn't mention a cargo boost either). Did I miss the announcement about this?
Example:
Partial hull conversion nanofiber structure info: speed 15, struct -10%, inertia - 10% TTi: speed 16, cargo 8%, struct -2.8%, agility -0.25%

Yes it was (sort of) announced, somebody mentioned about it in the patch review forum IIRC.
I checked this (and a few other things) this morning before I left for work and it is true, nanofibers don't give a bonus to cargo space anymore.
This change I don't like. ----- Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene 5, Moon 4, Duvolle Laboratories Factory. Ammo at affordable prices. |

Not correct (I think)
It seems that all non-basic items have now the stats of the basic item - which is AFAIK a bug/overlook - and the basic nanos do not have the cargo bonus.

another bug is the overdrives units, all overdrives has -10% in cargo +20 m/s even the named ones

Edited by: Cosh on 17/12/2003 19:08:46 I`ve got a lot of different type of named ones that all do 30m/s and -15% cargo - b4 the patch some were 31m/s and others 32m/s (overdrives that is)

yes, that is the same problem. There are 2 "basic" versions of nanos and overdrives, 20 & 30 ms OD and 15 & 20 ms nanos. All "enhanced versions" (doing 21 % 32 and 16(?) & 21) got the stats of the appropriate basic versions.

the two versions are not visible in all markets then it seems as in placid forinstance i only see one nanofiber and one overdrive but two inertia stabilizers. This is somewhat annoying as there are now a number of variants of the name with no difference in stats. Except for cargo expanders

Are the dev's even aware of the problem with named nanofibers and other hull modules? Has anyone heard mention that the stats of these modules will be fixed? Or are they really nerfed? |

my partial hull nanofibre thingy looks to be worse than the basic nanofibres! It has identical stats, but an extra "mass" field of 100kg, which would imply that it adds to the mass of your ship (slowing it down) I will have to check if this is a mass increase or a decrease after downtime...

I do hope it's a bug... had a nice collection of Overdrives, Nano's, Stabilizers, etc.
Kinda miss the things they did.

This question really need an answer, indeed...
When I see Partial Overdirve module with exactely the same stats than alpha or marked ones, it makes me mad.
