Hi i would like to begin a petition to get the population of Eve-Online to show where they stand in the fight for cheaper- more affordable T2 ships and modules.
All you have to do is /sign or /notsigned and maybe a sentence about why you believe it should or should not be increased in quantity.

A bit more motivation would be nice. What we are seeing since Revelations is certain items plummeting in price (T2 siege / cruise launchers, T2 damage controls, SBA's) and other items skyrocketing. (Large T2 extenders, T2 PDU's).
So far it doesnt seem like the intended system of 'when an item is expensive, more people will invent it' works. Some balancing may be in place but how exactly isn't easy to figure out.

That Items like Siege Launcher II dropped is depending on the (for Ravens) heavy nerf for T2 Missiles. That Damage Control IIs dropped is simply because the BPOs got released.
Invention is still getting balanced but still new BPOs are released atm so i would say u just wait 4 more month and then u can petition again.

DidnĘt the devs just announce they are scarping the lottery system and BPOĘs. They are moving over to an BPC only system via invention.
It sounds like there will be one more batch of BPO's then no more. Passive shield tanking guide click here |

i hope the above poster is right-
if they made T2 BPC's more available, well...we all know- less people would feel jaded...not the cheating devs or the 60 million skillpoint chars with 40 jillion Rp's and 15 t2 BPO's
but the other 100,000 players would be happier. and therefore, a time in eve where the customer was actually heard. An oft times too rare event.
  move along...

They need to scrap T2 bpos entirely. Sorry people, your isk machines should get about a year's worth of runs then go poof, otherwise you will always have a core of people who will never be threatened by invention.
It's like trying to build trucks by hand in order to compete with the exact same trucks being made by an assembly line.

i really dont understand why people demand t2 bpo owners (like me) should lose their bpos.
we make the products - for you.
we dont determine the price (whatever the hell you think we dont) - the market does.
why dont u just get inventing stuff instead of moaning.
the stuff for invention is out there. you know what agents drop whjat. you can get datacores and interfaces for free with time and effort.
sure invention may be bugged atm but they will sort it out.

Well, if there were only 20 assembly lines in the whole universe and each could only churn out 20 trucks a month, then trucks would be very expensive.
If the assembly lines stayed just the way they were, but 10,000 folks started making trucks by hand, one per month, the supply would be vastly increased and the prices would drop. The folks with the assembly lines would still make more per unit than the inventors, but they would no longer control the market.

Except the old tech 2 BPO owners and other market sharks have so much isk now, they can buy up all the cheap tech 2 units and resell them at the price THEY want. depending on the item (tech 2 ships for instance) there are few enough on the market that this wouldn't be all too difficult for someone already backed by a deep wallet.

Of course you make the T2 products for us. Your philanthropic tendecies are known and admired by all the denizens of Eve.

Price gouging? I'm sure you would never do such a thing.

All in all, thank you for posting this. I had a good laugh.
