pwning means owning. People made alot of typos so they changed 'officialy'changed it into pwning or pwnage.
There is another thread about it somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

I think its meant to be 'prawns'. But 'I prawns u' is worrying.
I think you can be arrested for it.
pwning is lame talk for lamers and only lamers use it, whether being ironic or not. Its lame.

Nothing is wrong with pwn. If someone is doing really really good at a game, like... well godly. Then they are pwning. Sometimes people say "pwnage with a 'P'".
Its mainly a thing from twitch games, like CS, Quake, and UT. Sometimes someone has a 20:1 kill:death ratio and they aren't cheating. Thats pwnage.

Actually it's a corruption of a typing style adopted by hackers back in the 80's who used alpha numerics to disguise what they were talking about to avoid e-mails being red lighted.
Now it's the kiddies who use it to appear elite or l337. All in all it's very sad that people can't even be bothered to type properly.
It shows a lack of intelligence in my opinion. If you can't spell a word look it up rather than using stupid abbreviations.

checked every dictionary... only time I found owns spelt with a P was under 'lame illiterate *******........
