Magik Flame, would you like to buy some mindflood? So you can make your ecm's cycle for longer?
Actually talk to your e-uni friends, I sense a market there a sizeable one at that.... |

I saw this too and laughed so hard my coworkers thought I'd gone nuts. The Xziles being on that list is laughable at best... and the fact that we got no mention for trolling anyone and everyone we found saddens me immensely. As for Black Rebel Rifter Club (They were never very good to begin with since about half of their members can't enter high sec without being ganked on gate/leaving station).
Down with Taxes! (Teon Tea Party!)
Awwwww Tom you still remember us. How sweet. You guys sure do stay butthurt for a long time. It was just a few mining ships. It will be ok. Don't be mad bro! What you should have done is not alliance hop and accept our war dec like real men, but alas, that is what cry bears do I remember you quite well :) How'd you like that gank tristan and dramiel that kept blowing you and cargo up on the leisure station in teon? And not our fault we have billions in isk to toss away on a whim :)
So do we, hence we frankly don't care about about how many Thrashers you can gank under faction police protection. So Basically you're bragging about camping hi-sec gates and stations, worse then that you're bragging about it to lowsec pirates who can't be arsed to gate camp themselves because it's boring as hell.
Funnily enough when that faction police protection gets removed because we declare war, you suddenly don't feel like fighting and decshield. I wonder why that is? Don't fancy your chances do you?
Anyways we're still ganking miners, in Molden Heath (though we can't hold a candle to RANSM) so you; one stopped nothing and two decshielded the moment there was any risk of getting shot at in return.
classy.

Mine are food supplements those don't help against illusions of being a creature of myth, you need Aripiprazole.

Never heard of a komodo dragon?
Yes a species of lizard. Not generally what people are referring to when they talk of Dragons in a MMO environment.
But maybe Tauren Tom did really want to compare himself to a somewhat fat unsightly species of Lizard, in which case you are absolutely correct to point out my error to me ofc. |

Delilah Wild wrote:Hello All,
This has been a fun thread to read.
I have no idea who Magik Flame is, but I appreciate the effort he put into this thread.
As the founder and diplomat of the actual Coalition of Anti-Pirates (www.coalitionofantipirates.com), allow me to share a few thoughts with you.
To begin with, a big shout out to Lady Spank, whose moral support I have cherished over the years.
I would also like to honestly acknowledge that anti-piracy has not been quite so effortless as Magik portrays it to be. It is true that we have successfully suppressed pirate threats in Metropolis and Heimatar low sec. But this has not always been easy, and we've taken our fair share of losses. More when the pirates panic and call in 40+ super caps from null sec (see our home page for an example).
In the main though, the major pirate groups have all fallen before us, and now run, pos up or dock when we are about. Negative Ten, Mean, The Chupas, Tempest Legion, Black Rebel Rifters, The Obsidian Front, Moira, Darklings, and so on. Much of course depends on the time of day, and where our fleets are located. Minmatar low sec is not safe, and it never will be. Still, it is much safer than it used to be.
We do appreciate the good fights that we have had with pirates. As we expand our network and operations, we look forward to more in the coming years.
Cheers, Del
Delilah Wild Diplomat, COA
We never ran from you, unless you call not engaging 10+ fleets with 2 or 3 frigs running. We left because of little things, the Mothra. guys camping Ezsur-Hofjal 23,5/7 mostly (making it hard to move to Amamake area for fights) and not being able to get small engagements, which you know a rifter corp is all about. Also I don't think moira. consider themselves pirates. Anyways believe it or not anti-pirates had nothing to do with it, there's plenty of those in Molden Heath too.
And the primary pirate force in that area BSI seem to still be plenty active there and around Akkio, so you seem quite unable to dislodge people flying similar hardware to yourself.

I'm not offended, unless you hurt my rl cats I'm pretty much impossible to offend ^_^
Just the high and mighty tone of your original post annoys me somewhat, what you and -EM- and some others do is seek safety in numbers, which is admittedly a successful strategy if non of the 'hostile' entities can field similar numbers or superior hardware. But please don't be offended either that the only anti-pirates that seem actually 'good' from looking at battle reports in any engagement of size (with equal numbers/hardware) is -EM- with Altean Fc'ing.
Now a frigate corporation like r1fta can dodge larger fleets fairly easily (a couple undock bookmarks go a long way) but upper metro is pipe and losing anything bigger then a frig to BSI camping Ardar, Mothra camping Eszur and anti pirates often camping the pipe upto Eifer loses it's attraction fairly fast. It's not 'fun'.
Personally I'm not to bothered but we have a lot of newer players to whom losing ships is still an economic issue, and while camps may work well, losing a ship without even a chance to respond is really just frustrating. There's some irony in it that 'pirates' (weird word I make my ISK running trade and industry in lowsec much like a lot of anti-pies I imagine) that don't actually camp find that their game play frustrated by the alleged 'good guys' using fast-locking gate camps to do so...
Anyways back to the topic of this massive troll thread; Piracy is as alive as ever in Metro/Heimater/Molden Heath. And if E-UNI stopped blobbing they might actually get some good fights in the Hagilur pocket. Last time I brought 10 Rifters in they responded with 15 or so cruisers and battle cruisers including a pilgrim and a 2 ecm ships, so yeah E-UNI don't be to surprised that we haven't come back in a while. |

Onictus wrote: You guys were fun to shoot at, though I never understood your reliance on frigates.
We enjoy flying them! Do you need any other reason? :-)
Remember this is lowsec we don't have space to 'defend' with a couple of instant undock bookmarks, and bar ultra fast locking gatecamps frigates can pretty much pick an choose their engagements and nobody is going to 'evict you from a station'.
We're also 'solo-centric' we're not like Gunpoint, Shadow Cartel or Hatchery a corp that does pirate gangs a lot. If you jump a battlecruiser solo into a proper lowsec camp chances are you're gonna loose it, or at least aren't going to travel that way until the camp clears off. In a frigate you just ignore the camp an carry on with your day ;-) |

Ynot Eyob wrote: Rifter Rebel.. Still good for a fight, but they do know how to mark down who the "Blobers" are, and i belive for all become hard to get a good fight with. COAs work, i doubt you are just marked as blobers as everyone else in bigger fleets..
Well you see that's it >=85% of the time a 'bigger fleet' constitutes any number higher then 1.
We do small gangs on occasion, but even then the biggest we've ever had was 13 Rifters and this happened exactly once. And then it was you know Rifters (the 10 that survived long enough that time all died to the E-UNI fleet I mentioned earlier).
And 2-3 is the norm at other times (the remaining 15% or so when we're not just solo) unless one of us organized something. And quite often our pilots will happily engage solo vs 2 or 3 (have a look a t Miura Bull's, Saftsuze's or Ilik Tanikalot's boards if you want to see examples
Solo you'll get a fight out of our guys pretty much always unless you 're notorious for flying some ++berfaggotry fit or for breaking 1vs1's. And if you're not sure if one of our guys is solo ask for a 1vs1 in local if you get a no or it goes unanswered well then he/she isn't alone :P |
