Chat Window Sort Function It would be pretty nice if there was an option in chat windows, more specifically Local, that allowed you to sort players by standing and/or other means.
This would be a nice feature so that in large systems, or very populated systems, for example you would be able to put players who were not in good standings, in fleet, alliance, or corporation at the top of the list instead of having to scroll the entire length of the window constantly.
I know an argument against can be "Well you have intel channels" - yes but they are not perfect and having different options on how to view players would be a nice organizational feature.
Chat Window Disable Function It would be awesome if you could disable the chatbox in Chat Windows. In almost all scenarios Local Chat is the worst experience in the game. I would like to be able to disable this chat box and have the ability to not read, or send chat messages.
The argument of "Well you can drag the vertical bar that divides chat and player names to the left and chat 'disappears'" is not sufficient for a feature that can make ease of life on players.
I do think both of these ideas would go a great distance is improving Eve Online players quality of life in the game both through ease of system watch management and being able to avoid toxic environments more enjoyably.
Any critique, suggestions, or feedback is welcomed. |

number 1. No that is the risk of being in a populated system
number 2. Not worth the dev time grow up and just ignore it
finally use the damn search tool you would have been able to find numerous threads on this topics full of explanations as to why its a bad idea. That way you would not have to pollute the forum with redundant ideas that serve no purpose other than making new ideas harder to be seen

There was a thread for this idea three days ago as well.
EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

As a courtesy to other forum users, please search to see if there is a thread already open on the topic you wish to discuss. If so, please place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forums needlessly, causing good feedback and ideas to be lost. Please keep discussions regarding a topic to a single thread. As mentioned, these ideas have been discussed before.
