Today, I logged into EVE excited to play. I am fairly active PVPer (this is not my main) so I store my ships in a Ship Array in a POS in 0.0.
I suspected something was amiss when my CEO did not greet me like he usually does. He did not say anything to me.
Well today, became a very bad day for me. My corp decided to remove all my roles without telling me. My ships still in the array and me unable to fit any mods at the POS, I effectively cannot play.
I have never stolen anything from any corp. I have never hurt any fellow members, so I ask myself why would a corp do this to me? Just recently I helped save a fellow corp member from pirates in the belts. This same corp member was nice enough to get my 2 ships from the Ship array. Sadly because I have no hangar access, I cannot fit any mods or get ammo.
I feel really gutted and a little depressed by this action. It has hurt me. It has hurt my will to play EVE anymore.
I have spoken to another Director in my alliance and he agrees that the situation is strange. This alliance knows me well. I am in the top 10 for kills this month. I have fought and risked for this corp and alliance. I dont know why but I suspect the CEO just doesnt like me.
Well I had to get this off my chest. I really feel like the wind has been kicked out of me. At least the corp could have asked me to leave if they didnt want me? Why not send me an eve mail asking me to leave? I would have left willingly. This is a very sad day for me in EVE. Perhaps I will stop playing because if i cannot trust my corp, who can I trust?

Sorry I wish this was a joke. I had to vent because I spent so much time in this game and now feel betrayed. Perhaps your right and in a day or two I will move on, but for now I feel hurt.

Happens to the best of us mate, pick yourself up and get into a good corp.
If you like pvp, why not look into a proper pvp corp. E.g. merc or pirate corp.
Good luck and dont let them get you down.

Sorry to hear about that ...
my advice would be:
set a skill that is a few days long ignore EVE for a while.
Go on a pub crawl with your mates after a few days log into EVE and jump back on the horse

sounds like a pretty lame ceo tbh. but yeah as said before surely if ur known in the alliance then u can join another corp in it and get back going strong. or you could just go and pod ur ex ceo and get over it that way

Do you think maybe you should perhaps... Talk to your CEO before you get upset with him?
If i have a problem with something and my CEO is involved that tends to be the wisest way to sort it out. Bear in mind your CEO might know somethign you dont, or just screwed up and did it by accident. Or ofcourse it could be the bug with POSes since the patch, though that wouldnt affect your roles. You HAVE tried accessing a corphangar in empire, right?

but make sure its not just this bugged update they released today.
if not, dont give up eve, there are so many corps out there, and a few of them are even nice corps :)
im sure you will find a new corp soon, propably alot of corps out there would be happy to see you fly under theyr tags.

Well my feelings were hurt but after the great words of support here and from some of my corp m8s and alliance members, I feel much, MUCH better.
Thanks for letting me vent and not flaming me with the minor exception of tiller but I guess thats his role in game. No biggie.
I will survive this. I feel much better. I will rejoin my old corp and move on.

100% certain. After DT today I was able to access the hangars and did so without issue. Once the CEO logged off, I lost all my roles, EVERYTHING. I checked my logs to see if I might have removed them and did not see any warnings.
I then asked another director why my roles were removed and he could not answer. He said he needed to ask the CEO first. If my roles were never to be removed then why didnt he simply add them back? Because most likely the CEO told him I was being kicked. Makes sense if you think about it? Other people in corp who just joined and have no Killboard record have POS access and I do not?
I have a documented case of another past corp m8 complaining of the same thing. I didnt believe it but now I do.
I will leave it at that as I have no direct proof but I am know in my heart that I know I am right about this one. My instincts in this game are usually accurate.

i feel for you mate. thats a pretty gutting experience.
BUT! you shouldnt stop playing eve becus of one bad experience or id have left long ago.
Best thing for you mate get yourself in a nice pvp ship and take all the pain, misery and anger out on the innocent or dumb and kill pirate style.
Nuffin makes my time in eve more enjoyable when ive had my weekly hate mail, if i could count the times ive been wished dead or of cancer etc etc well... well anyways its a good way to let go of the hurt

First of all I will give you some credit for keeping the corp anonymous, that shows in my eyes that you keep your integraty.
As some has proposed convo the CEO and clear up your situation with him, maybe some communication mistake is the reason. Whatever the result keep your trackrecord clean that will make it easier for your main to move on to another corp and with a clean integraty.

Don't let it get you down mate. Sometime's people can do really petty thing's for trivial reason's. It must be hard because you make friend's and are comfortable, still keep in touch with them, maybe join another corp in the alliance, take a few day's off and think about your direction in the game.

Final Update:
Well after making inquiries with alliance and corp members, I was given 3 days to get my stuff out of their 0.0 space. I was told in a corp email that I would not be kicked to allow me sufficient time to enter the POS and gather my stuff. He gave no specific reason why I was being kicked. I simply replied to the email asking for reason. He never replied. He never said a word to me today in corp, neither did any of the other officers.
And so what did my CEO do this morning? Thats right. He kicked me from the corp, effectively blocking me from entering the POS.
Thankfully, I spent all of yesterday getting my remaining ships from the POS and docking them in low sec. I am out of alliance space and glad I went with my instincts. Sadly most of my mods sill in alliance space are lost. Oh well.
Thanks again for the support people. I know EVE can be rough. But stealing people's stuff and treating fellow corp members poorly is definitely not nice. I think of that other member who never got the chance to remove his ships from the array after being kicked from the corp and wonder how many more will fall victim to this CEO?
Oh well thats a post for another time. Time to close this chapter and move on.

That just sucks. I tried putting a ship in a corp pos once, left it over night next day it was gone. I would never trust my stuff in the corp pos. What your ceo did sucks but you take with you the knowledge that you really can't trust anyone 100% in eve. Good luck and good on ya for a good attitude about the whole thing.

Well we dont operate in 0.0 to often as we get alot of empire contracts but your welcome to join us in stain of mind. We provide mods / ammo when possible and dividend payouts from contracts to all members with the possibilities of payouts from shares if purchased along with lotteries etc. We operate as equals and we are all brothers in arms. In general we'd sooner lose our entire fleet then let just 1 of us die alone. So that being said drop me a mail if your interested or have any questions.

The CEO owes you an explaination, and he's a coward if he doesn't offer you one.
Convo the guys in the corp who you trust and ask them to dig into it for you...you need to understand what happened for closure IMHO.

Actually I would name and shame the CEO but I have decided against that unless he pulls some stunt like call me a corp thief or anything remotely similiar (as we know this is a common tactic to ruin careers).
This ALT is not a secret to those who have recruited me as I provide screen captures. I choose to remain annonymous because I was only looking to vent my frustration. But now after thinking it over and feeling more angry about the way I was treated, I want revenge.
That being said, because the CEO broke his word about not kicking me and took all my mods and mins from the POS, I have given the alliance 1 week to kick him (not his corp or corp m8s but only HIM).
If not then things will get rather interesting for him, his corp, and yes the alliance. Sorry everything in EVE has a price. His actions are going to cost him.
This could have been avoided but I guess he wants to play hard ball. Batter up.

You didn't hear this from me, but last time I checked about a month or two ago, you were able to eject ships from hangar arrays without any roles needed. You can't board them while they are inside the array, but one you eject it you are able to board it regardless of roles.
