Hello there,
i like a bit of a challenge and well was wondering of the difficulty of complexes(not including actually being able to run them :P)
so what 10/10 plex's are doable solo? i know the serpentis fleet yard one is, are their any others? |

I would worry more about the Allaince defending the complex than the rats themselvs ...

If with solo you mean you + several of your alts, then perhaps. But truly solo (e.g. 1 character), no way no how.
There's no way you can do enough DPS to the overseers to kill them, or tank the DPS that those 10/10's dish out. With a 6/10, 2-3 ravens had a hard time breaking the tank of one of the overseers (granted it was a bit of a bugged one that both armor and shield tanked).
I think the max that can be done truly solo is 5/10 and I -think- some 6/10's.

Using the Boss bug, you can pretty much kill any Overseer boss solo assuming you can break their shield tank. The Boss bug means the overseer forgets to repair armour. I have made a fraps video of a 6/10 being solo'ed by myself a couple of months ago, not abusing any boss bugs and done extra slowly so people can see how aggro works. I will try to get it on eve files by the weekend assuming I can get the file size compressed enough. The final overseer drop was a bog standard webber/scrambler so these plex's are not exactly a cash cow.
Up to 8/10's can be soloed (Gist X CNR), and 10/10 require a minimum of 2 people, assuming time is no issue. A 10/10 can be tanked solo, but such a setup means you would not even be able to break the recharge rate on the overseer shield, rendering it pointless.
Most people do 10/10's with a tank, and a Logistics ship. Rest are gankers. The Tank is usually not a battleship since a lot of 10/10's slaughter battleships in seconds due to the screwy way guns shoot.

Actually , you can solo a 10/10. With the right ship, the right mods, and knowing how to do it.
I can say this with confidence ....as ive done it myself

Heh, I was going to say solo killing a 300ma fleet is a good analogy, however in the days of titans... I guess people can actually prove their claims to be true.
10/10's Used to allow Capital Ships, so in theory, they could be soloed. Not anymore as no 10/10 should allow capital ships now. So unless his "proof" is a Mothership somehow doing a bugged 10/10, I agree with you in saying he is talking crap

dont know about 5/10 and higher, but 4/10 was quite easy for BC and i had wrong hardeners.

dont know about 5/10 and higher, but 4/10 was quite easy for BC and i had wrong hardeners.
The max that has been proven to be solo'ed in 1 ship is a 8/10.
