I wish EVE would put a feature in so that you could "expand" a particular attribute of a gun/ship so you can see which skills/implants increase/decrease that particular stat.
Just so it's easier than having to go to the market and find that particular item to see how much better it is than the base value..
just my two pennies :)

If I understand you correct, you want to be able to see the damage modifier of that brand new gun and what it looks like when this skill is at that level and have the system tell you what you should train and what implants you should buy to get a higher damage modifier?
Or is it simply to see which gun is better when all your current skills and implants are added?

No i mean when the item is connected to your ship, when you go to the info for that item each of the attributes can be expanded.
Say for example tracking speed, on the item stats it says Tracking Speed : 0.1532 rad/sec or something, then you can expand that and it will say
Other attribute y
Damage : 1.4 x
Tracking Speed : 0.1532 rad/sec
----
Base = 0.14 rad/sec
Motion Prediction (Lvl 2) = 0.151 rad/sec
Implant x = 0.1532 rad/sec
----
more attributes
more attributes
This would make it easier because you can easily find out what the base is when comparing to newer guns.
I dunno, would be handy :)
