just on my character and when i went to jump the game locked up, when i tried to log back in it went in ok but when i select the character the game locked on it goes halfway through the authenticating procedure then freezes!!
HELP PLEASE!

I am having the same problem with both my characters. I was mining ore in a .5 sytem when the game quit progressing. Tried to log back in, and it only goes halfway like yours.
are there many others?

yeah im next to a gate in a .6 system, luckily its my n00b character though and still in n00b ship :)

For all that posted here, sounds like "Stuck Character Syndrom", only thing you can do is to long on to another character and file a "Stuck" petition and give them the name of your character and what system you tried to go into and where you were planning to go in the long run.
Often times a GM or Polaris will move your stuck character to a safe system, sometimes to the one you were ultimatly trying to get to.
If they get too many stuck petitions, they tend to bring the entire server down to clear out some of the problems. It normally seems to be any system there is alot going on in ~coughs "Yulai and Luminare"~

well case close, they just rebooted the system cause of all the people suffering this problem, just a natural hiccup when bringing out a new patch, thank god i had another character to while away the time, nothing worse than going out all day and getting home in the evening to find you can play your favourite game!

crashed whilst warping in an 0.0 system, now I cant get access to my char.
I'm not the only one it seems

yeah has happened to me to i get to the blue screen then it stops on "connecting" and all i can do is read the news, anyone know a fix to this, cause i put a petition in 2 days ago and nothing has happened

I got the same thing right now. Its ****ing me off. Anyone have a fix on this?

I just logged out to switch characters and i can log back in at all. I cant get past the log in screen. Please I'm on vacation and i need eve.
