I was an almost maxed super carrier pilot, and now, I have fighters 5, heavy fighters 5, fighter hangar management 4, but no light or support fighters, so I need to train a new skill to be able to do what I already could? |

Pretty sure light and support fighters are new, so you have to train a new skill to do something you couldn't previously. |

Did you look at the bonuses?
* Fighters: 5% damage bonus per level to all fighters
* Heavy Fighters: 5% damage bonus per level to heavy fighters
* Light Fighters: 5% velocity bonus to light fighters
If you train Light Fighters level 1, you will be as effective as you were before. |

It's also worth noting that you only need light and support fighters to 4 to use their respective T2 craft. So its not too bad of a train IIRC. Less than a week for each to get to tech 2. |

And T2 fighters did not exist before so its new stuff for everyone. Happy times for everyone other than those people getting blapped by fighters.

Yeah i hit the same wall went to test out the new fighter interface a few days ago on SISI and couldn't load Firbolgs into my Thanatos, go to find out they added those 2 new skills, and while the 2 and a half weeks ill spend training them for T2 is negligible at best the fact that i had to go out of the way to drop 200m to do something i could do before was irksome. I'm over it now though water under the bridge really, and 110% worth it for the improvement they are over the others which i thought were the best they had ever been.
