It's true you know. Ivy League is based nearby, and we hear the stories.
The ghost of the Ancient Carebear still roams the Crokite belts in 8MG. The few pilots bold enough to go there late at night tell of sudden cries of "LOCKDOWN!" in BWF local. It's creepy stuff.

I must say, if your IGS thread is what your goal is, it'll be pretty interesting to watch what you guys end up doing, and how you go about it.
I trust you'll be siding with the Patriot faction?

Good fight ISS. Not unexpected, with The Enslaver from LV ousted as GM (where'd that titan come from!) and Serathu locking every thread associated with it, it is tough to keep up the fight when you don't have CCP support.

You have no idea, honestly. ISS put up some some surprisingly good fights, and for a surprisingly long amount of time (considering their losses). They've got my respect.

I'm sure that's the plan but do you realy think that Count T can shoot at Coalition forces and when it get to dangerous for him he can just drop out of the war. I have a hard time believing that the Coalition will stop shooting just because of a one sided standings reset.

To be fair, we were forced into it. We had a nice war with IAC and co going, then goonies joined in, and IAC pitched their lot in with RA and co. By default we were pulled in.
Anyway, you guys are the dark side ---------- It's great being minmatar, ain't it |

So the fact that ISS had LV helping you out (plus numerous Merc Corps and UK) before any large scale assistance was given to IAC is to be overlooked? By 'de' fault of Count T is where you landed, not IAC. He made very unwise decisions, decisions that was not required, his decisions was driven by the destruction/removal of IAC from that area of space. It is generally well known that the Count has long wanted IAC out of the region they reside. His obsession led to the demise of ISS, please don't get kidding yourself it was for any other reasons.

Your business is welcome in the Mandate, Count TaSessine. After the taming of the terra irridente, we will extend that agreement to encompass those additional regions.

We're dead? ok, fair enough. I best go tell the other 900 members.
And yes, point granted that we were in a partnership with LV, as a buisness deal that was open to any alliance in eve. Also, if I remeber correctly, IAC started the war, POS were mentioned, count (or someone) hit the panic button and we called in mercs. Just because we took the first station, and then lost it, doesn't mean we started it.
As a last note, remeber, I'm a grunt, and when this war kicked off I was actually -10 to ISS. ---------- It's great being minmatar, ain't it |

As I understand the plan the answer to your question is a resounding 'yes'. I'm not a diplomat or director and it's early days so probably best you contact: Count TaSessine, friznt, Serenity Steele, or similar for details.
And.. with regards the ISS did this, IAC did that, LV did something else.. we have plenty of other threads for it.... *pinch of salt required* |
