Here in the US the history channel every friday has a great show called dogfights. They re-inact great dogfights from various wars with a flight sim.
Now I want to get back into playing flightsims... Was even thinking of building a little*****pit setup to put a comp in, along with controls, etc...
Who makes the best joystick/throttle/pedals combo? I owned Thrustmaster units b4, but they were cheap & broke often.
Also, what are the best flightsim games?
This stuff any good?

I've got both the pedals and the yoke. The pedals are worth every penny. The yoke really isn't best for combat sims, get a joystick instead.
If you're really on the cheap though, at least get a twist-handle joystick. Don't get a Logitech though, they die all the time. Great mice, bad joysticks. Rudder control is essential to get the most out of the plane.

I wanted to get a throttle, joystick & pedals, no yoke...
CH looks all plastic to me, but yet they are the most expensive...

Edited by: DarkMatter on 02/03/2007 15:42:49 I grabbed this today off eBay.
I'll look for a joystick and throttle some other time if I really get into the combat sims...
Will an older comp run FSX, or is at least a 7900GS type card required?
I have an Athlon 2500, 1 GB RAM and NVIDIA 5900 Ultra laying around I wanted to put together as a flight sim comp... I don't want the yoke & pedals near my EVE machines, lol. Plan to have a seperate comp for this stuff, maybe even build a plywood ****pit...
