I will be moving back out to 0.0 soon and I have 5m sp. I can fly gallente af - BS with good armor tanking skills and 1m drone sp. I can use large hybrid turrets but I really suck with them I hit harder with my T2 small ions on an AF then I do with large hybrids on a domi. My drone skills are at a point where to get heavy T2 drones trained up im looking at like 47 days.
I have crap missile and shield tanking skills but am flying a drake on level 3's right now with great results, way easier to run the missions on a passive shield tanked drake then in a armor tanked myrm with T2 med and light drones - not sure what gives there.
So my question is-----
Do i finish trainig up a raven for ratting/pvp in 00 or finish drones for ratting in an armor tanked domi and pvp in an AF??
I find myself losing skill training focus and I need to be sure about what path im going to set myself on.

Ishkur enyo raven and domi can all rat very well,its just up to you what you want to fly.

Are you in it for the fun? Or the money? If the latter go ahead and train a raven. Not many ships can beat it in isk/hour.
If you are in it for the fun, stick with gallente. Ratting with a raven is usualy: Find spawn, lock target, f1-f6. Watch TV.

The raven would be the most efficent to train up and I should be able to use it for PVP as well.

Consider this I currently have 2 mill sp and can take on any spawn in 0.0 including officers with my myrmidon and heavy drones. I say stick with a myrmidon its perfect for ratting!

Raven has limited uses for PvP. Any battlecruiser or above should be able to rat without worries (alot of times the trouble is finding decent spawns not killing them).

Really depends what you will do more of. For ratting, I would definitely go Raven. If you want to do more PVP and the majority of the people in your space fly Amarr or Gallente ships, then a NOS-domi will make you a feared PVPer.

unless u have near maxed out skills. But generally until then they do suck, and whats worse none of the people u fly will be impressed with your ship while u train up. Get onto Gallente asap
