Hello all , I was wondering with all the new changes to the game lately, i was owndering how a Scorpion would do in lvl 3-4 missions? I just bought one and need some setup advice please. I think I read in a previous thread that u can actually jam npc's now? but in any case i need a decent setup for shield tankikng lvl 3-4. Thank you all.
P.S.- I did a search but found threads from 2005, so was hoping some updated setups would be suggested. Also, does anyone mission lvl 4's in the Scorpion? thank you.

Scorps lack the firepower for level 4 missions. They have a great tank and can usually last a long time but they don't dish out enough damage to solo a lvl 4 in any good time. Scorps work great for lvl 3s but so do drakes and drakes cost less ;). My setup for a scorp was usually:
4 siege or cruise depending on the mission
1 Tractor beam
1 small hybrid for frigates
shield boost amp, xl-shield booster, heavy cap booster, 4 rat specific hardners, sensor booster
2xbcs, fitting modules

better off using a smartbomb

Forget the scorp until some future patch notes mention it. Even then get a Raven or Drake for PvE, as i am sure has been said before.

Rgr that, I am keeping the Scorp, but for now have purchased and fitted a Drake. thank you all.
