Please settle n argument for me, I was playing Scrabble with my daughter this evening and according to her, Jove is not a valid word!!
I know, I couldn't believe it either and my threat of an early bedtime allowed the word (which included a triple letter). I could understand it if her arguement was "I will allow Jovian but not Jove" but she was havig none of it?
Please settle this for me and educate my watward daughter, inform her of the validity of the word Jove!

Thats a tricky one, actually. Jove is definitely a word (was another name for Jupiter, the Roman god). BUT: are pronouns allowed in Scrabble?! Is the name of a God a pronoun anyway?!

Yes Jove is allowed, I figure if "et" is allowed (as in - "He et my burger") then certainly jove is allowed.
OR
