Well I had just logged on and all the sudden I get a msg saying that pie is in kling...so after a loooooooong time of traveling to get there I find pie there, well after awhile of sitting in the system we finally make a move toward the gate, when we arrive we find pie is no longer there and had jumped to the next system. After awhile of waiting at the gate we jumped into the system. As soon as I jump in a get a msg saying that pie is at one of the gates, we soon warp there and engage the enemy. We find Isiana and Rodj Blake who are in a Apoc and a Arma. After a long battle we destory Rodj's Arma and Isiana flees.
Losses:
Our losses=Bellicose, Rupture, Vigil, Caracal (due to unorganazation...there were attacks before I got there)
Pie losses=Armageddon
The battle and soon to be Rodj's arma's destruction.

may i remind u of the 5 kills Myself and Rodj made in klingt before this
Anyway we were on our way back, we docked and switched from heavy battle equipement to light travel equipment, Aka i had a mwd and rodj had overdrives in low
Even with this advantage and the numerical superiority by our enemies, we put up a good fight (with those odds the battle could only go one way) we were outnumberd by aprox 7 against 2
But it was a really good fight guys thx

Isiana, the kills you may have made before are the last one's you'll take in klingt. If you want some more sport, and feel the need to lose ships, we can have some more fun soon ;)

Excellent news. It is great to hear that more minmatar are standing up and fighting for what's right. PIE is a small road block in the way of freedom for our sisters and brothers that must be removed. Congrats brother skull and corpmates on destroying one of their bs's.

Well I heard it was a great fight...
7 Minnies vs 2 PIE
Minnies lost 4 ships (and others earlier in the evening)
PIE lost 1 ship (albeit an Armageddon)
Enjoy your minor victory. Such losses are all part of our struggle against Minmatar terrorists and we have always been willing to put our ships on the line.
Almost nightly I hear reports of People's Front of Minmatar ships destroyed and mining operations disrupted in their own HOME systems.
This means they are not elsewhere undertaking terrorist ops and harming innocent Amarr pilots and traders. I
If we lose a ship or two while doing our duty then so be it!

No i didnt say that, but thats the one of the reasons we lost, But theyt still fought very good, even if we had been equiped, we could have given them a better fight

I know you guys are RPers, but this is can be an OOC forum, so I gotta ask. As a decent engagement post-patch, how did you find using cruisers, frigates and BSes in serious PvP?

From our side I cannot say as both our pilots were in Battleships.
They fought a mixed frig/cruiser force of seven and took down four of them before we lost the Armageddon. Maybe the Minnies that were there can fill the details from their perspective.

If I were a minm fighter in a cruiser I would be taking advantage of the changed close range guns and getting in close to avoid those tachyons.
With cap to spare for hardening and speed I think that's very nasty combination *cough*tracking disruptors*cough*. |

For the record Hardin, two of the ships involved in my destruction were Tempests.
It takes more than a few cruisers to kill Rodj Blake you know!

Anyway I did not intend to hijack this thread, just to point out the potentially dire situation Maud may be in, after he made a mess of himself in my bedroom.
