Yes Eran Mintor is no more.
We learned today that he committed E-Suicide after a massive chain of failer including getting his entire Capital fleet destroyed without getting 1 killmail. Thats 2 carriers and 3 dreadnoughts plus a battleship fleet totally wiped out and not killing one Minmatar warrior. A battle Report here
After loosing everything in a short manner of time id say he just couldn't bare it anymore knowing that such a small force can do so much damage including executing his E-Wife Shalee, Taking his home system Huola and evicting [iLaw], He lost 3 carriers in 2 days 1 had a few faction battleships in its maintenance bay.
Now u Amarr can say all u want about how good u are. But actions speak louder then words and this just tells u who holds the power over the warzone.
I predict [iLaw] to fall apart as such a terrabad reputation will infect them like i infected huola.
Also its said that Shalee has become a drug addict to get over the situation and is trying to pretend it never happened.

If this is true it is a sad day in New Eden. Not only did it lose a pilot but a pilot that brings much to this game in terms of enjoyability for both his friends and opponents. You would not have had your victory that night if Eran was not in the game to provide you with an opponent and an opposing fleet.
It shows poor form from your side to gloat over New Edens loss of a great pilot regardless of who that pilot flies for. I assure you if someone like AVA Starfire or any opposing Matar FC was to leave the game in this manner it would be a sad day for me as I would lose someone that provides me much rivalry and enjoyment.

People bio mass their selves quite often in this game but never leave.. Think EL Tar as a prime example or that Star Faction RPer chick. TBH it's nice to start out fresh chars every once in a while I've done it a few times now. I personally find new chars more interesting than my old ones such as this one. |

All due respect, you're allowed to find whatever you want funny, but that logic's dumb and I hope you know it. I mean, would you actually expect Caldari or Gallente militiamen to field exclusively Caldari or Gallente ships? Hell, if I fly an Amarr ship made by a Gallente who is enrolled in the Minmatar militia, who exactly am I supporting?
Unironic post, it is a shame to see such an active FC go. I might hurf blurf in the IGS about it, though anyone sensible would ignore most of my posts anyway, but at the end of the day this is a game and Eran leaving only means we're going to see less enemy form ups, which is only going to end in less fun for us.

I am amused at the gleeful response from the Minmatar FW players, having been in the Amarr militia briefly I will tell you this little secret The majority of players don't undock ever without being prodded and poked into doing so, name recognition is one of an FC is one of the easiest ways to get people to actually join a fleet. Losing an active FC is actually more of a problem to the Minmatar side than the Amarr one, you all are going to have even more trouble getting fights.
Unless your goal is really to kick the Amarr militia out so you can PVE all day unimpeded rather than get good fights, and if that is the case good job I guess one step closer to that after all, but I doubt that is what the majority are after. |

I think the Minmatar guys don't mind him biomassing so much as he was once a heavy plexer on the Minmatar side whom turned to Amarr side when the going got tough. Now it appears he did it again when the going got tough on the Amarr side he biomassed. |

Minmatar couldnt even hold Huola for 3 days before it was retakin by our forces. our resiliance in this theatre of war says that no matter how many capitals you kill, we still fight in the mechanic that is stacked against us in every direction.
The only real accomplishment minmatar an ever hope to have is taking kamela. That is/was amarr militias home from the start.

He may have been sulking but wouldn't you if you'd had a night like he did? Maybe he got so worked up about it he came to the realisation that he was taking the game too seriously and decided that Biomassing brought some closure?
Seems to me that you're being the *female dog*.
I don't know the guy, maybe he was a bad FC, maybe he was an idiot. I still have respect for someone who obviously played the game and took risks. For that reason alone I hope he comes back. |
