I don't know if this has beem suggested before.. But I useally read all that alliance/corp summits here on the eve-o forums. And there is alot of whining about who is doing best and the numbers killed in fleet ops etc etc.. Thats because at each killboard that have been created, its essential that every kills/losses is posted. But never happens. And therefor it consumes alot of energy from people here on the forum in bichting and whining about how may thatwe killed and not...
Why do EVE developers not implement a killboard for each alliances ingame and maybe even outgame, that updates automatic, each time a kill is done. And maybe even down to corp level there could be killboards. Then there probably wouldn't be any whining about someone not posting loses and instead have the real facts about battles and wars.
just a small suggestion which i think could do alot of diffence :)

yup , an automatic killboard developed and maintained by CCP is a great idea , and it could have a 24 hour delay lets say , so it wont be used to get strategical informations from it .

If it was a neutral source of information, that'd be fine. Just don't make it a ranking list. Kill rankings are stupid ego pumps.

I would sign if the system would deduct points for ganking newbies in highsec or this would just cause alot of problems.

Agreed. I'd like to see the database accessed via the website, so you can export your killmails. It would eliminate killmail lag, allow for verifiable killmails for mercs and such, and leave the e-peen side of killboards to the third-parties who are into that sort of thing.

Edited by: ghosttr on 03/03/2007 18:12:15 Or if eve were to publish killmail data every few hours that other sites could tap into with the right code. eve would provide the data for all of the kills once per day. But it would be up to the players to code something to sort the data by corp/alliance etc.
