I think gate camping goes against your own princiles that you are stating here.

I think youll find youd end up deleting what youve just wrote. a) we only camped there for like 10 mins or so while forming up as ive mentioned. b) The offer has been made to them for a arranged fight. Are you organizing tourneys now?

Posted - 2007.03.03 20:27:00 - [73] Hehe no offence mate but if you can find anywhere in eve where it is more than just blobs ftw pls tell me I would like to go there (apart from empire). Alliances find safety in numbers so it is pretty difficult to get an even fight these days let alone avoiding the nano ships. Its a sad fact in eve now but I guess CCP always pushed for alliance warfare rather than small gangs (even though the node cannot handle it). From other peoples comments I can assume you are a pretty competent pvper so I guess the only thing you can do is to learn to adapt sadly. My corp kinda suffers from the same problem being in 0.0 and rarely getting equal fights... but it just means that when we do, we cherish the moment more. So keep your head up and search for those great small gang fights

Wow thankyou for your comment, one of the more adult like posts ive read, thankyou. I know it comes accross as whining but i dont forum ***** and i wear my heart on my sleeve so to speak and am generally quite an honest person. I could deffinatly be better at articulating myself on the forums, this is very true. Its is a whine. I just want to pvp Your quite welcome, we learned some hard lessons from your corp and i honestly think our current success at pvp in CA is due to what we learned from fighting you. cheers I dont jog, it makes the ice cubes jump right out of my glass.

We decide its best to logg off for a little bit aftera few kills of them. Upon logging back in we manage to catch a syplh straggling raven ( a gank yes but he was split from there main gang so meh ), lo and behold ushra khan come in ( we are 2 jumps from there home system now ). I think we had my abbadon and like 5 inties, they have rapier,celestis,wolf,crusader,typhoon,raven,hurricane, a couple of others maybe but i dont think they got on my killmail in time Im pretty sure they only lost the rapier and celestis but unfortunatly it took me a fair old time to lock them otherwise im prettty sure thered be a few more dead Ill keep everyone updated on the ganks that ensue. If I recall correctly this is done every 6 months or so... it's called an 'Alliance Tournement' in which you get even numbers and odds for the most part. Closet thing to a 'fair fight' you are going to get in EVE so sign up next time.

Anyone can gank a hauler and i wasn't loooking for that at all. W--R simply want to pvp, we only ever camp in the hope of killing a few carebears to make isk. Killing a hauler does not get our hearts racing, Our real goal is to fight fair and fight mean. On this particular occasion we were chilling having a few laughs, we encounter 2 UK bs and expect a gank squad behind them, we engage anyway. 2bs vs 1bs, 1bc and 2 frigs seem fair to us. Uk seem to deem it nessesary to blob beyond all expectations. Whenever UK see that we have 2 bs, maybe a dictor and maybe a inty they know thats all we have, we are a small corp and i have never been in W--R gang bigger than 8 people (Look us up in game). Yet they seem to think droping a cyno field and a 10 man bs gang on us makes it fair???? Like wiz and the others small gang pvp is my thing, we never speak about a hauler gank that happened last week, we often speak about a fair fight which we found and had good fun winning or even loosing No one in W--R thinks providence is the epitome of PVP, its a ** hole tbh, but local to us. I offered UK a 5v5 bs fight and there where not particularly forth coming in accepting it, win or lose we would have some respect for our enemys. Wizards real moan is in the gank warefare that is deemed nessarsary these days, none of our numbers are power gamers, we play for fun and thats what we look for in fights. W--R are in no way forums ***s who moan for the sake of moaning, feel free to search the forums for our posts................. if you ever meet a fairer PVPer than the OP tell me as i would be interested in meeting them. Squad to small wing level ones are particularly fun as there is typically no lag for everyone and therefore actuall 'fun' may be had for all. Those kinds of encounters will be hard to find on a regular basis because as you said.. everyone wants to win without losing their own toys it seems. The old rule of fly what you can afford or at least willing to loose in any fight. I say 'any fight' as they may not be fair so if you can afford to fly your HAC and loose it.. fight for fun even if you loose your HAC. The idea is to have fun fighting and playing EVE regardless of the outcome of the fight. At least it is for me. For the record, I would like a fair fight as well.. but I do not ever expect one.

I am not mocking you, as you probably know...my corp raided NOS space for fun, we ganked, we were chased by alliance fleets, and it ended up in a large fleet battle It was all good fun, the close escapes and the cheeky kills while we were running Thing is..they get used to your name, they see you in local..and set up a big squad for you. Take it as a compliment. We are not a threat to UK, we are not sticking up POS in there systems and camping them into their station. They hold the 9UY station and the gift that ISS gave them. NOT providence as a whole. I actully personally have respect to UK for being able to hold that system and even claiming it in the first place (lots of gates and moons, plex and its in providence) but your guardians of providence uniforms makes you look silly with those dreadlocks you all have.
