Jut wondering if anyone could give me an idea how long the queue is. Sometimes I get a response in a few days, other times a few weeks, and rarely after a few months. Now I just need to figure out if I shell out the isk on a replacement or wait for the reimbursement... BPO and BPC sales |

Yup. Losing a ship when the client is pretty much locked up from lag involves neither guts nor glory. It just leaves a small pain in the pit of your stomach knowing that another trip to Jita is in order. BPO and BPC sales |

I got a response to a reimbursement petition almost 2 months after filing it. They asked for the same details I had included in the OP except the station name it happened in. I have over 250 transactions per day. It was simply impossible to scroll that far back in transactions. Everytime a buy or sell order got a hit, the wallet would go back to latest transactions.
I think the reimbursement petition is only there to make us feel better.
Opinions reflected on my posts are just that, my opinions. They do not reflect views held by my corp. |

I had a petition for a pilgrim a couple of weeks ago. It took about two weeks for the GM's to get to it. Not a bad wait. But i'm a patient person.

3 months and counting for me. I honestly feel I am entitled to reibursment, and I will have a respectful discourse will GM's until I gt it back, or I am told to STFU already.

Petition response depends also in category, where you have filled it in. From my experience: Stuck - Boarding another ship from carrier and got stuck 25 minutes, maybe less
No category - POS corp thief, could`t be resolved offcourse 2 or 3 days
Stuck - due to lag from 400+ blob in nearby system, i got kicked from game and was unable to get back and save ship from npcs 2 days, maybe less
In my opinion, GMs are working hard and queque is neverending. Just be patient and do not demand for reimbursement. It`s game without QuickLoad and QuickSave, that`s all
*** SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Please double check before logging off the game, you are not piloting Titan class ship. Chances are high, you will not be in that vessel soon (TM). *** |

I lost a crow to a aggression timer bug and didnt get it back for months and months, one day got an evemail and my crow was back. A few months later lost a flycatcher to a huge lag spike and got back my flycatcher a few days later. Maybe cause eve-o knew about the lag spike and quickly answered all the reimbursement petitions that was effected by the lag spike.
So to answer your question you could go out and spend your iskies to replace your ship and the next day you will get a nice little email with your ship back in a station. This will promt you to hit your head on your desk, then again you may wait for the petition reply for months and months without replacing it.
Take the bullet, buy a new ship and pretend nothing happend.

I've filed 3 ship reimbursement petitions in my eve time, all for legitimate server related losses and all 3 were answered and replaced within two weeks or less. No complaints here :D

I recently had the misfortune to lose my mega to lag during a mission and put in a petition.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a reply from my petition within 2 days. everything destroyed was returned including the 3 rigs which do not show on the kill mail. Even got a message from Concord giving me a nice RP reason for the return which i thought was a nice touch.
CCP did me proud!
