What HACs are still decent to fly these days?
I'm at the point where I need to make a decision on which direction to go soon. All of the HACs are fairly equally within reach at this point. Caldari ones are pretty meh, and I'm not really interested in them, but what about the others? Or have command ships and nano-battleships totally made HACs obsolete?

Vagabond is still awesome group tackler / solo pvp ship - i engage anything I can in it. With 5 warrior II's, and the speed...
its not fun when ya get called primary tho :( lol

apparently the vagabond is the only decent HAC and i want one so bad, but the training will take me ages (probally months). But they are ment to own everything upto battleships in 1 v 1 and if the going gets tough they can run away.

I agree to what ya'll have posted. I catch a vaga on scan I gtfo.
Which is dissapointing imo.
Hac viability has gone down A LOT since you can fill a similiar and often more effective role with BC's (for much cheaper to boot).
I would like to see the vaga brought down slightly (make BS's a little harder to kill) and all other hacs brought up considerably more.
My opinion though. :) I still love to fly my Sacrilege and tank ... evertying. :D

A speednerf was promised on a devblog a while ago.
Perhaps it will make HACs more equal.

You don't fly vagabonds, do you?
Just fyi, you can't kill any decently setup BS with vagabond solo.
Any BS fitted for pvp close range will own you, any decently shieldtanked raven will own you, you do realize that vaga does 300-350 dps with GANK fitting?
The only thing you can kill is 2 month old hunter in belt who is aggroed by npc's or a sniper who is too stupid to warp out before you are on top of him.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to kill a properly setup pvp bs with a vagabond, period.

The Zealot with a couple of rigs becomes a fairly decent 100km sniper, which is fairly decent for massacreing enemy support in a large battle.
