I ahve quite good drones skills but i never thought i should mix differnt types of drones. Using a plated Vexor, my corpies like 1 ogre,1 zerker, 2Xt2 valks and 1 warrior.
Personally i like 3 t2 orges as my gallente skills are maxed out. What do you think ?

Yeah, Ogres have the largest damage multiplier and deal thermal damage, which is a weakness all NPC's share (please excuse me if PVE/missions is not the issue here) and if ur skills are maxed out specifically to them, fair enough...they would be more dangerous than your others.

From what I understand (And the math I did some time ago) you get maximum DPS out of 5 drones and 75m3 dronespace by using 1light, 2mediums, and 2heavies.

but absolutely 0 versality.
use 5* medium + 5* small, dont mix though. i prefer fitting guns that do kin/therm on my vexor + explosive drones (fast, good hitting and hurt the weakspot on armor tanks).

Yep... it best to use drones that deal a damage type which your primary weapons do not cover. Second rule is never use EM drones.

The main reason you don't mix size is becaise effectiveness is then shot.
heavies good on mid or slower cruisers and larger.
mediums good on slow frigs and lal cruiser, weak on BS
lights good on fast frigs(cepter under reasonable conditions) and somewat good on lightly armored cruiser but weak on most other cruiser and larger.

Because Amarr Infiltrator IIs suck worse than Minmatar Valkyrie I's in almost every respect. They do a teeeny teeny bit more damage in a worse type (EM), faster by like 50m/s, but are way more fragile due to low shields, cost about ten times more, need more skillings and have worse tracking.
Amarr Drones are just awful.

True. With decent skills that's over 300dps, but it's too risky a setup unless you use damps to bring your enemy to close range. The Arbitrator can sorta do it, but the Vexor doesn't have enough mids.
