I've seen this a couple of time too. It's a petitionable exploit. They are not exactly logging of but having a second computer in character selection screen. When they need to bolt they just hit "enter the game" on one of those characters. Don't know if it is the same character you need to login but the ship of the formerly logged in will instantly disappear. File a petition. Don't whine about it on forums.
Just one thing, I think they still have the "login screen" and not char selection. As logging in allready disconnects your first client. Doesn't have to be a second computer though i think, same one should do just fine. Wasn't this fixed ages ago though?!? Or did you just implement an old "feature" again CCP?
@LV: It's damn funny to see more than 50% of those of you we engaged since your arrival in stain logoff to save their ships. I mean after like years of reading your "RA logoffski.... blabla" propaganda on the whorums!!! You might really want to consider getting rid of all the riff-raff in your ranks.
T0SHIR0 for example would be a good start. Tried same on us, he got killed anyway. After logging off and on multiple times managing to save his pod what do we get from him:

Someone who sneaks into a deadend system in his raven to hide while carebearing and then logs off when jumping into a gang asking if you are proud of getting the kill anyway?!?
Btw before i get my asbestos suit: this is not a whine, neither meant as smack, just a fellow player trying to be helpfull whipping your alliance into shape again.

Everyone keeps saying about AAA Logoffski, my understanding is they are accused of logging off on mass and logging back in, some may think this is lame some may not - however this is about logging off in combat to save ship pod etc which is certainly different and is a purely selfish act to save ur ship and has no honour.
Since LV have moved to Stain to set-up new home, the percentage who log to save ships is over 50% that is very high for any corp in eve so most be something they encourage because obviously there are a number of people in all corps who might use this tactic even if against corp policy but they are the minority of almost all corps. I assume most corp do not agree on this policy and will punish people who do - DO LV??
Just saw ur post Skape - Agg and a few of us are commenting on what we have seen, not speculation but based on what fact, I hope LV do not support this action, if the dont support it they need to make it clear again to there members as a number of them are ruining your reputation
2 out of 3 LV BS we killed within the last 2 days in stain were killed after trying to save their ass logging off.
I don't (even really want to) know how many succeeded in saving their ass. Which is pretty sad numbers and i would act immidiately if it was my corp/alliance.
