sry for my bad spelling
today i was Convoed by Ashanti X and he wanted me to join. we talked for a very long time and he would pay me 300 mil to join up and help him move items from high-sec to 0.0 in my JF. something did not seem right about the things we talked about so i looked them up a few times and i found this little post about them killing a frighter that just joined. i linked him the post and then he just left the convo.
posting this in the hope of others like me will look stuff up on the forums and not fall into scams like this
i would also like this post to be about that corp so if u find out about more members that does this i will add them to the list

I did see the message in local. They are "recruting" paying small time to join their corp. Personaly I started to smell the fail when they had price chart by ship type. Most nul sec corps dont pay you anything. I only know of one that gives anything at all to new people. They recomend kOObs training corp untel they learn about the game and give few mil to help tide you over untel your accepted in the training corp.

Heh I convo these guys everytime I see them spam their recruitment speil in local. When you know in advance what they are looking for it is easy to push their buttons, though I'm guessing they are on to the bit by now. Ah well.
Either way, I gotta say of all the low down shenanigans I've seen in this game (many of which are hilarious) this scheme is seriously the most pussified... really, really pussified.

I wish I would have found this thread earlier... Just got scammed a few hours ago by this Ashanti X guy... Lost my PVE Orca, a Gila and some ISK. Total loss = about a billion.
Yes, I was naive letting someone I dont really know joining my corp, but I learned my lesson.
I make sure that this Thread will be kn own better so that other pilots w'ont do the same mistakes I did today. |

That might be the reason why people create alts... My PvE ships will never join any other fleet than mine again and my corp will select its recruits really carefully. |

these guys are 100% idiots. if thats the ONLY way they can get kills is to recruit andf kill pilts then boot them speaks volumes for VIRAL!
i know they tried to recruit one pilot. and tried to gank that pilot in high sec .. but failed to have the pilot in corp lol.
