Yesterday was a great day in the coalition. After hearing news of the MC carrier kills then another report of a BOB carrier down (i do not have details), We were in high spirits as we started up our evening partols.
Long story short, our D2 bretheren working with a squad of FLA managed to pin down a Xelas Archon of a gate in a back end mining system. Since the Archon is such a tough nut to *****, the call went out on the internal com channels and a Sparta fleet that was in the area immediately headed there to link up.
Once in system we popped the cyno and within seconds had Sparta / D2 / FLA capital assets in the system and the Archon went down quickly. The capitals were able to cyno back to safety and in the end we had popped the Archon + one other recon for the loss of some support and a command cruiser 
Yeah well .. so we popped a carrier .. so what right ? .. Well, the point of this post is to express our euphoria of a quickly made plan going perfectly yes, but more importantly to express my pride in how the northern coalition has quickly begun to gel into a real team. In the last several days, I have seen an incredible change in the way alliances are working with each other and the results are paying off in spades. This is the begining of a long campaign and it is with great pride that Sparta is playing it's small part in the coalition while cultivating strong friendships with our bretheren in the theater.
Here is to a lot more smack free fun and we'll see you on the battlefield...

Good job.
I agree with you, in that it's challenging having to communicate with all the different corps / alliances involved.
It was pretty well done yesterday when the the 2 MC carriers and gang went down in 3-f, nice quick fight, no smack, very little lost.
Good clean fun, thanks to all involved.

Yesterday was a very great day for me. I have managed, after 3 weeks training, to tie my shoes in less than 6.43 seconds.
Probably I can do it faster, with 1 or 2 Red Bull's.

Less mouse clicky and more showing up to english class Batman :) Being in high spirits does not equate to a moral boost ... it means that an already good day was getting better by the minute
And I beleive that the post articulated that the carrier kill was the secondary point in it's content ..

tjeez guys, go easy on the OP, he was just telling us that ganking the carrier has been good for morale. how it improved the team spirit and the cooperation between the coalition and how they have grown to a team in just a few days.
That shows some team effort? no? last I heared a carrier got shot down by 3 BC's somewhere, so getting the entire team there to shoot it must have caused some convincing to get people moving, wtg guys, nice work.
now where is my bin. Not getting enough bins makes me cynical.

Dear Frantico,
If i were you i would go back to the hole were u came from called Querious. You should pay more attention to your current state of affairs before you smack talk about anothers victory.
Let Sparta Alliance enjoy their victory. I praise the northern coalition for showing team work and dedication to the war effort. These victories posted will bring more corps and alliances to aid the coalition in the coming weeks.
Attitude like this fixian has presented in this post will only make the coalition stronger in their resolve to destroy BOB LV and FIX. You can take that to the bank!!!

Killed - 17 Dreads, 1 Carrier, 1 Titan
Bob killed a pheonix yesterday plus your 2 carrier kills so is it now:-
Capitals
Lost - 1 Dread, 4 Carriers
Killed - 18 Dreads, 1 Carrier, 1 Titan
I think it probably is and even though you guys make a post every time you kill a capital it still doesn't hide the fact your losing in a big way.

I congradulate you on Killing me, It was indeed an epic battle.. Smartbombs going off, Fighters flying It was indeed a Solid death and I again applaud your efforts of jumping cap ships in on me.
What i dont commend you on, is your entire squad Logging out Shortly after my death when reinforcements Locked you into the system.

Well, next time please bring better info than carrier. Mothersip would be something, regular carrier is small fish in the sea.
So what coalition killed a carrier and work is going good. Will you be able to fight BOB/MC 50+ dreads, 5+ motherships, 15+ carriers ? Answer this question to yourself. Ive answered it this way : goons will do the job.

got him in armor,

Thang god the proper PVPers in eve don't post all there kills like cearbers like you.
I have BoB killed a D2 Dread yesterday with the D2 fleet hiding in the pos with greater numbers and a titan.

It is nice to see but it seems people are posting daily about how they killed a cap. ship , they aren't battle reports anymore it's just more chest beating thinly vieled by a battle report , especially when some of the battles are non-events like this was " some back-end mining system " isn't exactly a location of major importance surely .

for the first week or two there was little, if any coordination between the friendly forces, mainly due to the fact that people will still organising themselves, let alone having to worry about other alliances. recently however we have seen the northern forces and friends really come together well, and its been a real nice thing to behold
