So the local agents in my area of space are a bit picky. Level 3 agents should require +3 standing and Level 4 agents should require +5, but my local Level 3 agents require +5 and Level 4 agents require +7. This despite the descriptions saying the L3 agents require +3 and the L4 agents +5.
But the Agent Finder assumes all Level 3 agents are +3, so the L3 agents show up as available, but when you talk to them, they shut you down.
But when you look at the Dotlan data for Ansila agents you see that the L3 agents require +5 and the L4 agents require +7.
This is a bug one way or the other. Either the Agent Finder needs to be fixed to show availability properly or the agents need to be fixed to have standing requirements in line with other L3 and L4 agents. |

Is that what happens in game, or is it just on the dotlan site?
If it's in game, yes it's a bug, but surprising that it hasn't been spotted before. And it doesn't matter what your caldari standing is, except that if it's below -2.00 the agents just won't talk to you. |

Looks like dotlan is all messed up. Might be a crest thing. All the Caldari Navy lvl 5 agents say "9.00" standings and all lvl 4s say "7.00".
On top of that, there used to be variable standings, which CCP was supposed to standardize in 2009 when they basically got rid of agent "quality" and spread the agents out. When i started mission runnning in 2007 there was some lvl 4 agents with standings requirements as low as 4.5 and as high as 7.00.
So i don't know, maybe put in a support ticket and call some attention to it. |

This happens in-game. Take, for instance, Saira Sontemko, an L3 mission agent for Corporate Police Force. My adjusted standings (Connections 4) with the Caldari state are 2.51 and with Corporate Police Force are 4.39. In Agent Finder, he shows up as accessible to me. But when I go to actually talk to him, he says I don't meet his standings requirement.
I mentioned the Dotlan site only because it lists his standing requirement as 5, which is consistent with my in-game experience. |

Huh. In the course of logging a bug, things work now.
When I tried it the first time it was shortly after I was qualified for it. Maybe it just took time for the databases to propagate. |

Sometimes the Agents won't acknowledge your standings right after gaining access until the server catches up with the client. Usually a simple relog will correct that situation. Also clearing all cache files in Esc menu - reset settings tab - will help get rid of small minor bugs, especially when done after a game release / patch.

Sometimes you have to wait until after the next downtime, Standings often lag badly
