The (new hip) EVE Online Launcher doesn't do anything when I enter my credentials and press launch.
I've tried different accounts, verify cache, fixed permissions.
The old way to directly launch EVE has been conveniently disabled, I used this because I had problems with the previous launcher (har har).
Any way to fix this besides reinstalling EVE?

Workaround: click the "E" icon in top right corner of launcher. Choose server list. Click "play on tranquility". Log in when game launches. |

WorkAround :
1- click on setting button on launcher ( right Above Keepstar doomday weapon ).
2- select (server list)
3- click ( Play on Tranquility)
4- The game will launch and ask for username and password. enter it then hit connect.
5- You will be in characters select screen.
Note : You will have to do this for every account you have.

I was stuck too, I found the reload button top middle right and it says reload because interface has changed. I clicked it and launcher works normal again |

confirmed workaround
does not work for me, the client WAS starting in task manager but not actually starting, and then i reinstalled eve, and now it simply does nothing. even from the server list. |

The workaround did not work for me either.
What did work was having the server list open to see if they were updated or ready.
they were not however, on the third restart of the launcher, it connected ... but had an error that directed me to use the repair tool.
and repair tool errored out and I am direwcted not to reload the game :-(
Downloading now
Nothing clever at this time.

I'm generally a calm person, but this takes the cake. I petitioned this nearly 2 weeks ago, and my petition got lost. This thread is going on 3 days old (same with my re-petition) and has yet to get a dev post. I would consider the ~hip new~ launcher not working a major issue when it means that people paying for your services can't access them.

Hi Beffah. I can't log in either. Neither from home, nor from work.
The Launcher looks like it will launch, but then stops. Nothing happens.
The workaround of choosing "Server List" then "Play on Tranquility" doesn't do anything for me. Nothing happens.
Not going to play EVE tonight, I guess. |

After D/T I was no longer able to launch clients. The Launcher works, can logon to an account, click play and it starts to load client on the launcher loading bar then pauses, then goes to full blue bar again and nothing. This has happened on 2 different pc's at the same time. |

Update: Sorted, had to go to Shared Cache on launcher, under "E" top right of launcher window. Then select "permissions" after that clients are loading, on both pc's.
Thank you very much. Look for an ISK transfer in game. This fix worked for me. |
