Cheese999 Minmatar Advanced Security And Asset Protection	Posted - 2007.03.05 11:40:00 - [1] Today I was out getting cheap kills in my T1 fitted slasher (its a tackler really), by flipping cans then killing the barges and haulers who agroed. Anyway about 45 mins before DT I hit an ice belt and with a pair of mackinaws, flipped one of them (they had 2 drones apeice, and I sure as hell cant take 4 drones at once) killed him (damm T2 ships are hard to break, took 15 mins, inc killing 4 drones (the old abandon and scoop trick)), then his hauler alt (he tried to log, high speed tacklers FTW). Anyway, during this extended ordeal the rest of the locals were very supportiveof the poor mack pilot, and one even came out in his cyclone and locked me!!!(lol) Anyway after the mack and hauler popped(why do they never pay ransom? 5 mil is all Im asking), and a Kestrel popped trying to suicide me (how can you manage not to inflict any damage on someone in a suicide attack? I dunno but this guy managed), the cyclone pilot was smacking in local. So of course I challenged him to a duel. Now here is someone who claimed he could kick my arse and "one shott" me, in a BATTLECRUISER who turned down a duel from a T1, teir 1 T1 fitted frigate which costs less than a mil fitted. WTF? His excuse was he was fitted for ratting...in a 0.8 system. Anyone care to explain it? Cause I've got no idea. PS My fitting was: Slasher (T1 Teir 1 Minmatar Frigate) Hi: 2x 125mm AC T1 1x small NOS Med: 1MN MWD, 20 Warp Disruptor Low: RCU EMP, Fusion and Phased plasma for ammo All T1 and unnamed Like I said, its a tackler, I planned to lose a lot of these ----- There is no Spoon Minmatar: Bending over for Tux since RmR Originally by: Outa Rileau bring a nosdomi to a fleet, and your fc will most likely call you primary.

Anyways, right before I jumped into the next system, a cyclone pilot convo's me, and asks me if he can "test" something for him. Yea, sure, I say. He dropped a can, I looted. I even went 30km from him. We started the pewpew. I flew to him, orbitted real close, he webbed and scrammed me, and popped his drones out. So I kill off all of his drones, I'm working on him (my shield regen rate was faster than his damage output of course).. and he CTRL-Q'd. wtf? anyways, it goes to show.. don't mess with anyone if you don't KNOW thier setup

Minny cap on frigs / Af's is trully dire (Possibly all their ships, I've never flown them), you wont keep a SARII running anyway so why bother Cannibal I eat babies ! (I handle L3's just fine in it) His DPS < My shield regen due to his "lack of skills".. he wasn't that old.. 1 month old at the time IIRC (this was pre-revelations btw). So all his skills was getting into the cyclone and the little amount of gunnery / electronic / drone skills. Even webbed he wasn't hitting me, or getting barely scratches. edit: yea.. if I was wanting to pvp in it, I sure in the hades wouldn't use a passive setup, lol.

You come back within 15minutes in a Recon/Battleship and wtfpwn him Anyway my point still remains, if you want to be a big bad pirate and kill soft targets at least have the decency to goto lowsec with the rest of the pirates/outlaws... or join Privateers. In highsec , there is no such pressure. Its protection allows people to not have to face their fears in lawless space. Fears so overgrown that they disrupt the combat abilities of anyone perceiving you as a real threat. Privateers and other highsec pirates still have a lot to do before most empire dwellers are battle hardened.
