...the 5th highslot on the Retribution be moved to midslots? Personnaly, I always have to leave the last highslot empty because of how I fit the rest of my Ret, and moving it to a midslot would allow for a speed mod and 20k scrambler, which would make for a nice solo ship, IMO.
Yay or nay?

Ok now i see your post  . I say yay, but... only if my enyocan have a third med slot... it would be dfljgasnb;drarba stupidly overpowered but meh, do it  .

I agree!, that is i agree if the 4th hi slot of the crow is moved into the low or med slot section

On my Arazu could we please move, 1 high to mid, 1 mid to low, 2 lows to highs, 1 more high to a mid, then 4 mids to lows, 3 lows to mids, get rid of all the lows, move a mid to a high, then a mid to a low, add 2 mids, add 1 low, and move one high to mid. Kthx

Its been proposed at least a few times. The 5th high almost never gets used anyway.

I totally wouldn't mind these useless non-turret/non-launcher high slots on my ships, if there were more things to stick in them. Currently, they're "nos slots".
I want high slot target painters.
I want high slot warp scramblers.(give them higher range and velocity + high cap consumption, I don't care)
I want high slot webbers.
I want high slot easier-to-fit anti-nos modules that aren't nos.
Right now, our high slot options are.......
Guns
Launchers
Nos
Neuts
Cloaks
...
Tractor Beams
Salvagers
Give me what I want and I'll go away.

How about not, since the goal is not to a have a single racial ship that is next to invincible. The fittings arn't perfect, so live with it. That's what makes the game fun... each ship having different weaknesses and strengths based on slot layout. If you want more midslots, find another ship. That's why there are so many ships in the first place ;)
that said, since we're on the topioc, i'll suport your one mid slot if the hurricane gains 2 mid slots and another low slot :P

5 guns on the hurricane? Well, if you say so...[Also, olol no]
The real issue is that the single mid slot limits the ship too much. Not that it would be some uber ship with two mids it would really need at least three to qualify for that. But then it would have a slot advantage over others.
The other issue is that the ship(s) in question dont have the fitting to use that last high slot, and so it simply goes empty, leaving those ships essentialy a slot down on others.

I think the most overpowered slot swap would have to be to lose one high slot to gain one medium slot on a Dominix. 5/6/7 would effing rule.
