uhh.. I like the patch, but would like to see a rollback for the chars to before Castor.. The marked are flodded with BP's, and that can easy be fixed with a char rollback.

Agreaed. I allso like castor in general, but the bugs with agent missions giving out insane amounts of stuff and BP have messed up things a bit to much.

1.) Delete all Goods taken from agentes and restore fraction status to pre patch
or if this is not possible
2.) Roll back to the time castor was intruduced (but KEEP castor.. I love it, but the agent rewards are much too unfair)

People who dont do agent missions wont want a rollback, mission runners who have made a fortune wont want a rollback, the only people who will are the ones who feel they have wasted the last few weeks/months in preparation for castor.
Personally i dont want a roll back, but just fixing the problem and not doing anything about how it will impact the game seems ratehr short sighted.
2 things which concern me are..
1, I was able to do lvl 3 agent missions for around 1 hour before the bugs stopped me. In this one hour alone I made well over 200mil from skills. I have effectivly been locked out of this for 22hour compared to those who had no problems.
2, Due to that **** up with the standings, i am now a minimum of 36 hours behind anyone else who has started building up research points in the skills im working on already. With no sign of a fix anytime soon this gap is only going to get bigger.
So not only do a select few get to make many 100mil's of isk per hour for over 20 hours, they also get the added bonus of a jump start on the researching. WTF happened to the slow introduction and an equal chance for all?
I have spent 40-80 hours pre castor working towards being in the right position for when this patch hit. I left a lucritive bistot mining setup in venal to specilise in agent missions, this alone has cost me 20mil per hour i would have been earning instead of doing these missions. The last 3 weeks I have turned my skill training attentions to those skills required for the research skills.
No need to say it, but ive wasted many mils of isk, many hours of time in both misson time and training time, based on yet another promise which has been broken by CCP. To make things worse im now hearing rumours that the rewards for agent mission have been heavily nerfed, wont be the first time we have seen CCP go into panic mode and go over the top.
Dont expect agent skills/CC drop in price anytime soon, the drop rates have been nerfed and im sure those building who got in before the nerf are gonna want to make as much isk as possible out of their stuff, wouldn't you?
The devs knew about the reward problem for over 23 hours before a fix was made. If this was everquest the server would have been brought down at once, and stayed down until it was fixed. |

Rollback to Castor Start !
Castor itself is great - but the bugged time bonus rewards (Skills and Original BPs were dropped in stacks [like 22 Original Cargo Expander BPs, 13 Rocket Science Skills]) have a BIG impact on the economy.
ItŠs just plain unfair (and to my mind even more of a problem than Miner II Introduction !)
someone that received a pack of 10 Skills by Bug yesterday might have sold them @20Million each and thus have made 100 Million with a 10 Minutes level 2 Agent Mission
simply unacceptable to my mind ...

The only fair thing is for a role back to happen, or ships lost finding out about the insane npc's to be replaced, and all of the game play problems stemming from the patch fixed.

CCP's goal is to FORCE players out of empire space with this patch. Its that simply. I operate out of an area that was once a .7 before the patch and is now a .6 after the patch. The Problem I have is that there is no longer a source of Isogen in the belts EVEN though the security of the system dropped. I am told the pirates will be even more nasty and that all of my ships will be slower.
When I started playing this game in May, My goal was and has always been to Mine, Trade , fight NPC pirates, make new friends from all over the world and tell dirty jokes. Thats all I wanted from the game. I do not want another JOB and I have no desire going around shooting at other players and destroying what may have taken them weeks to accumulate. Before Castor I was able to do that. Now that this patch has been implemented I have a choice as do we all. I can either adapt and continue playing or quit.
I am going to give "Castor Oil" a few weeks to smooth out and determine if I can find a nitch to fill and if not I will drop and donate what ever is left to the collective.

I'd prefer a rollback, however simply making guiristas manageable would be enough for me. Seeing ten missiles flying at you at te same time from the same rat is NOT my idea ofa good time, and multiply that times 14, and you have my problem summarized.
