Hello I am making this post because recently me and my fellow mission runners have been getting the shaft with caldari navy. we only have 2 high quality agents one in saila and one in aramachi. Because of this we are all packed in one area and are forced to withstand the most amazing lag I have ever seen. Because of this we cant make money or do missions at the same speed we previously could and missions that were previously easy are now very risky because we are having to ask ourselves will our booster turn on in time. half the time we spend in missions now is simply waiting for our guns to come on. I have noticed myself that the game has become agrovateing and almost not fun to play anymore. I pay 16 bucks a month for 3 different accounts this realy isent fair to us that we cant make isk anymore and lost ships because stuff wont activate I would like to know what ccp is doing about this and what they plan on doing to make this better and if they plan on somehow remburseing us for getting the shaft anyone else have anything to say about this?

It's not CCP's fault that you choose to follow the crowd and use the most popular agents in the busiest systems. Try working for another corporation.

The topic of your post is a bit misleading. I was going to tell you to be quiet and stop whining. I'm a mission runner for the caldari and I make plenty with no problem...
But that's because I work mostly for spacelane and avoid what you're talking about on purpose.
The navy agents need to be spread out more. It's too convenient, and lazy people end up all huddling around the best navy agents instead of. Well. You know. WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

I would assume you chose cladari navy as the corp you mission for because you want a Caldari Navy Raven. I chose likewise. I later found out, after i had well over 200k LP that you can mission for any Corporation of the Caldari faction and still recieve the same LP offers. Check Eveinfo.com for the corporations and locations of their agents.

Edited by: Aron Sun on 06/03/2007 18:54:20 what would help a lot is to split theese two agents up so that they would give their missions in different areas and maybe add a third agent... though many stubbornly follow caldari navy a suggestion would be to try other mission giving corporations but the split would still be the best way as there are still going to be a lot of people working with theese two agents.

Yes the agents need to be seperated that is the big issue and secondly I dont want to switch to a new agent i already have alot of lp with this agent and dont feel like getting it all over again i simply want the lag issue fixed so we can go back to what we were doing. im by no means saying that ccp is the problem but is it realy fair to blame this all on the people running the missions did we do something wrong decideing to run missions for this corp? I say no we took this corp spent alot of time building up standing and now we cant even run these mission.
and as far as following the crowd i have had this agent for years so yea try not to bash i simply want more mission runners that have been doing to have a place to state how they feel about this and we should be able to run missions for whatever corp we want without having to worry about lag

I dropped my ambitions a tad and went with Home Guard, to an out of the way system.
Dont worry about LP per agents, supposedly we are getting an LP Bank, so to speak. Hopefully, all agents within a Corp (at least) and maybe a Faction ( I realllly hope) will pool the LP's you make. Wish we had some sort of comfirmation here about this.
We'll see how this all works out.

yea I also read something about that im just trying to bring this issue to light and see if ccp will explain what is going on because this is a problem and its not something we as paying customers should have to deal with my main point being
We should be able to choose any corp to run for without having to worry about lag right now we can not.

I've been a mission runner in the Aramachi/Saila area for many months. And I must say, the lag is getting pretty bad around here. Oftentimes I won't even log on during the weekend due to the lag. As much as I would LOVE for CCP to upgrade the nodes a bit or move the agents around, I just don't really see it happening anytime soon.
I for one am finally going to pack up and leave for greener pastures (as soon as I can cash in my LP for something worthwhile).
Also the changes to missions in summer (dev blog estimate) will surely shake things up a bit. Moving some people to lowsec for the L5's and whatnot...

I used to, until last friday, run missions out of Motsu. The lag on friday went up to 6 minutes. I've abandonned the agent in Motsu with over 400k LP built up and I've gone to a -15 quality lvl 4 agent for Spacelane. I'll work up quality over the next week or so.
Motsu is a deathtrap, I've lost ravens there because of it.

Your 400k LP will likely be transfered to the corp level when Rev 2 goes live. So they're not lost.
Also, missions will be less laggy, with much less NPCs and probably the possibility to remove gaz clouds, those huge and useless ressources eaters.
As for Spacelane, if you want to use their best agent, well, you're far from the only one, and lag is starting to be noticeable... ------------------------------------------ Every ship has a base 60-70% resist against the primary damage type of the race that is the least able to vary it's damage types. |
