well i am not trying to be flamebait, but i have been gatecamping for about a week now with privateers and have personally witnessed a domi fly off instantly after decloaking. have seen this happen on many other ships, we are guessing its often a combination of wcs and nanos. just today we lost a navy caracal who insta-warped before we could put enough points on him. is this a valid tactic to escape? is it lame? it certainly makes it difficult for gatecampers.

Again trying not to flame, but the irony of Privateers whining about nanos is....amusing to the say the least

It's valid but not intended, alredy noted by the devs, currently awaiting to be nerfed, moaning about it won't help one bit

Oh the irony of people using scrams crying about someone using stabs. Nothing lame about using either or, but you coming to the forums whining about stabs makes you pathetic, at best. |

Its going to be interesting (sorry i meant boring) when every module or setup people can get creative on all get nerfed, so their only usefull to frigates/interceptors and of no use whatsoever on larger ships.
Those type of setups are sacrificial based, and as such should not be nerfed because that particular setup bested some unimaginiative lazy pilot(s).
Privateers have raw numbers, i suggest you use them.

Crusader:
M: 1x Sensor Booster II, 1x Warp Disruptor (II?)
L: 4x Signal Amplifier II
Sit as many of these on the gate (0m) as you like and CTRL + Left Click any incoming ships. No need to move, all they need to do is get the warp disruptor active on a target as quick as possible. |
