Price check on this character.
Price calculations are based on the going Jita price of skill injectors at 630m.
I've included a screenshot of the calculations with the top row being the amount of injectors needed per subsequent levels of sp.
Bottom row are the price calculations in billions based on the going Jita price of skill injectors at 630m.
Roughly 1050 skill injectors at 630m for a grand total of 661.2b.
Acquiring all needed injectors in one go would obviously result in paying a higher price due to supply.
I see many characters being sold way below what they are actually worth taking into account the price it would cost to inject this kind of character from scratch. |

Because it does not matter how many injectors you inject to create the character - the price is based only on the amount of money you can make by extracting the SP from the character. |

For someone wanting to attain a character of this stature they are still going to have to dish out the money to achieve this.

Not really. There are many other characters of your stature being sold at their market price (what I have been talking about before). If you can not compete with such offers (in other words, can not match somewhat similar price) you will never find a buyer for your character, if you decide to sell one.
Thus being said, you would be lucky to sell your character at ~164b isk if you are lucky and will wait for a right customer (and not those who want to strip your character); otherwise, the price would be even lower. |

Because 204m sp divided by 500k coming to 408 injectors at 630m = 257b.
And you're saying if I'm "lucky" I could get 164.

Go with what you want and just wait for the buyer to show up... your right, if someone wants a high sp character to play they will pay more... sp farmers will of course try to talk you down.
He looks at your character and sees extractors, You need to wait for the guy who looks at your character and sees a great char to play. With the diminishing value of injectors at high sp I'm sure there are people out there who would rather buy a character on the forums rather than spend a ton beyond that using injectors to get to that sp.
I think it looks good but I already have a 200m+ sp player so no need for one :) but if I were to ever sell him I definitely would not go for his kind of math.... |

the problem is that no one would ever inject a char to 200m for usage. Specialized chars can made made with less than 50m sp, even perfect titan pilots.
On top of that, there are already plenty of chars with 100m+ sp on the market at extracting value. So the only people who would ever buy your char at higher price is someone who REALLY wants a 200m+ char for injector price, which hasn't happened in the last few months.
we are just telling you the value you can expect to get from an actual buyer. Look through the forum pages and see if any 100m+ chars are ever sold for injecting price. |
