This is a thread to post what gets your goat, in EVE or other online games. The more universal the problem, the better.
So I dont clog the thread too much (and so I dont start a flamewar with some of my more fervent opinions) I'll begin with one that most of us can agree upon.

Yes, it is a game. No crap.  But, for those of us who come to the game after work (or two jobs in some cases) we'd prefer to enjoy ourselves and have a game that's fun for more people than the griefer asshats who usually stand behind "its just a game lol" as a free pass to be childish morons.

That bugs the crap out of me, or "gets my goat" as the OP put it. I see that on every game ive seen, not just EVE.

Not only are some people completely incapable of spelling the word correctly (hi, nerf!) but there are few words in MMOG lingo that are as horribly misused.
No, tweaking your Magical Frilly Pantaloon Cannon (+16) so that it no longer instantly kills everyone in the game when fired is not a nerf.

My pet peeve who think this is more than 'just a game' and think they should be able to potter around 0.0/lowsec enjoying themselves without being blown up by me, then call me a 'greifer asshat' and a 'childish moron' when I enjoy myself.

MMO pet peeve?
People that are immature, dumb, or both, who shouldn't be using the internet, much less be running around in the same gameworld I'm in, much less being in the same damn party I'm in 'covering my ass'.
The majority of internet users used to be intelligent and computer literate pre-2000. Now it isn't. Just look at the YouTube video comments.
