I heard now the pirates are harder, but is the loot still as ****-poor as it was before? Because if I have to work harder to get junk, I'm not gonna work.

Donno... Never could get close enough to check a loot can before getting swarmed again 
I think npc have played Starcraft waaaaayyy too much, and they liked the Zerg!

Tractor Beam? AWESOME!!! Can you bring cans in from 50k? If so, I have a full belt of NPC's that I can't clean up because of the spawn rate...

loot is appropriately uptuned. We'll have to work to get *really* good stuff but all of a sudden Angels are throwing galliums at me like they were confetti  . If i spent more than an hour on it i'm sure scouts and suchlike wouldn't be far behind.
The vast majority of loot remains stupid ammo (100 s lead, awesome!) and recycle fodder. But the worthwhile drop signal:noise ratio has increased so that you almost always get at least one worthwhile thing per spawn wiped, as opposed to per 6-hour blasting session...

Killed a 75K rat yesterday and it dropped a Miner I. I think it's safe to say the loot is borked on the new rats.
Oh well based on the other posts maybe I need to try some BSes and see what they drop.

yeah, you're missed, but most certainly not blamed .
making a daring can raid to nab a miner I or 100 units of s lead proj ammo... well, if there's something Scragg and i can agree on, you know it's GOT to be extreme...

OK a little report. my corpmates and I went to some .4 and .3. The biggest ship was a 12k rat. We where a thorax with heavy drones, a frigate, and a caldari cruiser. The rates where spawning around 5 at the most and normally 3. Thier AI has increased, they are a little smarter. The loot was ok. The great thing was we could goto any belt and there some rats where. So it was very exciting.
