Being wardecced by a small merc company who you know will come and actively hunt you down is way more scarier and intimidating that some hub humping merc companies with hundreds of pilots. Like I have said before, my corp was wardecced by Vendetta and while my corpmates chilled in a WH, I was the one hunting them in highsec.
Found one. He got away.
One. For the whole seven days, I only saw one. Granted, I got within two jumps of a hub before I saw him but didn't get any closer. Vendetta is not really an intimidating merc company in my opinion.
My friend had his corporation wardecced by Archetype. He just told me for the whole week he was running Serpentis sites and missions, he never saw one war target. Not one. At first he was worried but I told him not to and that he more than likely won't see a war target due to his homebase not being close to a hub. He laughs about it now.
Now when I was doing highsec wardecs like you are doing now, I terrified my opponents because I would go where they were. I did not stay in one place unless they were there. I would do 25-30 jumps to get a war target if they were on.
That inspires fear, not the number of pilots they have in their alliance. I do wish you luck since I felt I was forced to retire from what I loved due to CCP wanting to protect some stupid capital pilots in nullsec.

#bringbackthewatchlist Watchlists ruined hunting the way most people used to do it (myself included). That said if you know where to look and you are in a blanket dec alliance there are plenty of people to hunt down

If however, you have a rival corp causing you trouble under 100 members that you want hunted, forced to turtle up or you simply one a full intel report on the corps activities (Excel spreadsheet format), without breaking your corp wallet, then Voynich Decoded may the right group for you.
We dont blanket war dec 30 corps at once in hopes of finding targets randomly flying through space. A. We dont have the numbers to be effective that way. B. Its very expensive.
We are more methodical in our approach to War Decs in that we prefer focusing on one at a time, learning all there is to know about a corp, getting someone on the inside if at all possible and charting their activities, ships flown by each members, habits, what they do and where they frequent and THEN deccing them.
Be well.
I honestly wouldn't bother wasting my isk or time on these guys. They want less wars to "focus" on them so they say, yet sit on jita hub all day long. They remind me of holeysheet, they CANT die unless you can chew through their tank in < 60 seconds, Then cry like baby's when someone has the ability to kill them.
What happened to the FULL INTEL REPORT BS you were trying to sell in previous posts? seems like you this is proof you were full of Sheet1. |

So, yeah. That happened. I decided to form an alliance, just because, never know when it will come in handy for a worthwhile corp that wanted to join forces.
Later, I'm having to leave to spend time with my wife and before leaving I see Chayne chomping at the bit to get into a fight with VMG on the dock. He's already pissed off Holey who basically bailed on us without a word (after launching the Alliance and ultimately booting all support from the wars giving him a clean way out, which was fine. He had a lot of war decs going and having VMG staging 10+ ships on us all over didnt make things easy.
Before I left, I told everyone not to engage or do anything until I returned. I wanted to know how many VMG were in system and surrounding systems before anything happend. I leave, and come back a little later to find almost 2b in loss mails and a bunch of gloating VMG.
Apparently, someone who had recently left Vendetta proposed to Rep Chayne in his Vindicator (which I helped pay for by the tune of 500m and will likely never do again) so Chayne and another new recruit that was apparently a friend of his proceeded to engage to of course be blopped by 10 ships while HoleySheets apparently blew up the Logi ship repping Chayne.
A perfect set of lossmails for a brand new alliance because some people have their own agenda and no respect for what others in the corp are trying to accomplish. I then get a private convo from Khromius gloating and threatening me personally.
I honestly take the attention I've been getting from VMG as a compliment considering I've never been anything but respectful and honest with them or regarding them. Yet, somehow have become their #1 enemy. That tells me I'm doing something right. Why would a huge merc alliance be paying my little corp so much attention? Not only that, but targeting and threatening me personally?
VMG can blop people with many ships. They can kill idiots who have more balls than brains. They can go after small corps and over power them with numbers while avoiding real fights with similar sized corps through means of blue alliances.
What I've been working on with Voynich is something very different than what VMG or most of the other large corps do. I'm not looking to blanket war dec or engage large corporations with blop fleets. I think of Voynich as more of a Private Eye service for smaller corps or industry corps catching a bad time by other corps looking to prey on them and cant afford the hefty prices associated with hiring the larger corps. I'm not too proud to say that VMG and Arch and several of the other merc corps are bigger, more powerful and have more numbers, but they also handle themselves like children on many levels.
One of them claimed to be a 43 year old family man and I was shocked. I know this is a game, but to read what this guy was saying and to have him reveal his age just really surprised me. It showed me that there are certainly people who play EVE to grab onto an element of power over others they can't obtain in the real world and abuse that power like a child burning ants with a magnifying glass and laughing about it. Just seems odd to see grown men acting that way. Like a child bullied in school becoming a police officer and his ego exploding on the job as he acts like someone smoking a joint at a party is a capital offense.
I guess what I'm saying is I've learned a lot in the past week alone as I am always. VMG wants to hunt me and boast and brag about their "leetness" when the reality is, there is nothing elite about them. Strength in numbers is about all there is to it really. We played station games with them the other night and they wouldn't engage with several of their pilots in system because they knew we knew it was an off time for them and it would have been an evenly matched fight had they engaged and both sides would have lost something. Do I blame them? Of course I dont' I wouldn't have engaged either. But I also wouldn't be parading around bragging about how "leet" I am and then adding insult to injury.
In any case, I appreciate the lessons over the past few days and better know the value of trusted corp members who listen and and respect the banner and corp mates while also not being so trusting of unknowns. I also made the mistake of not trying harder to reel in all of the trash talking in local but, what I couldn't control I removed from the equation.
I am curious though...Holey and VMG have obvious history and while I was made privy to an email from Holey to Khromius with Holey basically calling out VMG to war dec him because they were all skill less blop pilots who cant stand on their own two feet without being held up by the others, I wondered why VMG decced me and my corp instead of him....very odd to me.
Ah well, let the games continue. :)

Can you take your head out of your ass. You make this all about you when it's not. I think out of all of us, Khrom and possibly one other are the only ones who actually knew who you were. It's your guys who started smacking up local with holey that brought a little attention to your guys and so we dunked a couple of them as a result. Straight after your alliance folded.
You also have to remember that also in your fit of rage when talking to Khrom you were telling him your salary, good job, hot wife extravaganza in an attempt to feel somewhat superior or make yourself feel better. So it seems hypocritical of you to say that you were shocked that some1 said he was a 43 year old man after you called him some kid who sits in his parents basement.
Move on dude. Reform and rebuild but do it right and try not to let your guys **** off the wrong people and we might just get along.
Probably not.

Yes, I got a bit offensive with Khromius in his convo because the way he was acting was really rubbing me the wrong way and there was really no reason for his messaging. I was letting him know that his threats and ego and everything else he was spewing at me was really just too much and way too serious for a video game. I have a lot in my life and this game is just that. A game. I'm not looking to grief people or try to burn them into the ground and I certainly dont have time to listen to someone threatening and verbally assaulting me either. I just want to play with my digital ships and feel immersed when I dont have everything else in my life pulling me.

There is a lovely little x at the top left corner of all chat windows... There is also a right click/block for those people you especially cant be assed dealing with. I recommend both these options int he future. Try the first one first and the latter if they don't get the hint. That said it seems you solicited this and now can't handle the heat. Smack talk of any nature should be in game and the second you bring RL into it you lose all respect from myself and many others.
I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors cause quite frankly after this your going to need it if you wanna stick about in highsec merc work
