ok im gonna say the usual.
if this is a repeated post ignore flame or direct me elsewhere you know the usual stuff
the main reason for this post to ask why there is'nt a simple vote on these things via players? for example when some new idea's are being thrown around ccp need only start a poll explaining the pro's and cons of the feature in question on the forums and see what us(the ones effected)think of them.i for one would have voted against escrow being replaced by auction would make a nice addon to escrow but by no means a real replacement.
anyway thats my opinion.
would like to hear what others think of the way new features are added.

One very simple reason: It's CCP's product. Throw away all the "players keep the game alive" *******s, it's exactly that. Business interests aside, player-base research aside, and the vocal rants of a small group of individuals on the forums, it's their product.
While you can argue it *might* be in their interests to listen, they have no obligations to heed anything the players say. ----------------- *snip* Part of your signature was inappropriate- Tirg The Mishing is an ethnic group in the districts of North Lakhimpur, Sonitput, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Tinsukia of Assam. |

As a long time customer services person I can tell you this man speaks the truth.
In context if CCP allowed people to vote on new ideas they would be handing control of the game over to the vocal forum warriors and ignoring the wishes of the other 90% of the pod pilot community.
If people acted completely logicaly then this would be a marvelous idea. Unfortunately it part of human nature that we dont always look at the whole picture.
