So according to the devblogs these were supposed to increase in numbers, my question then is? where are they? Did i mis something? am i looking in the wrong region?
I know u can get them through exploration but tbh, atm i'm only interested in the invention part and can't be bothered to go exploring also.
So are they found/built/sold? and if so where? and if there like half a bill each whats the point?
Anyways this is not a whine, i am truely interested in invention as i have a lot of RP's and seeing the T2 lottery is going bye bye invention seems the only alternative to get into the T2 market but for that to become a reality i really do need an interface but that's kinda pointless if the interfaces are sold for the same prices as some T2 bpo's are 
Constructive (and PLEASE note this word carefully before posting) comments or advice are appreciated.
p.s. not sure if this is in the right section but there isn't a real R&D section.

The bpcs to build interfaces are sold pretty cheap around jita.
Just have a look in contracts.

The data interfaces for invention of modules sell for about 100 million now in Domain. Ship Interfaces are still half a billion, true. If you don't want to pay that: get of your butt and start probing for hours on end in 0.0 yourself :P

Not a matter of beeing lazy, I simply don't have the time to also do exploring atm, only so much i can do each day... guess buying a bpc is the way to go then... allthough 100 to 600 mill for an interface... hm... we'll see.

are interfaces permanent? or do you need a new one after each invention attempt? (because at those prices surely its not worth it unless its a one off cost)

They are permanent and you get them back as soon as the job started. So you need theoretically only one of each (Data, Ship, Tunner) type and race for your whole Corp.

Hey Hunter old friend, i have some Esoteric Data and Esoteric Tuner Data BPC's i could let ya have at a special price, bring me the components and i'll even get it cooked for ya (would take a few days) bare in mind you can't cook em yourself as they need the Caldari Encryption Methods skillbook, which is a bit expensive.

Just because exploration exists doesnt mean you should be guaranteed a data interface. Join the queue. I've been exploring since revelations release and not found one, whilst people I know have found 2-3 bpc's.

You're looking in Radar sites, yeah? Keep working at those and it shouldnt be long before you find a bpc, and the components to make them drop in reasonable quantities too.
Note you dont have to be in 0.0 to find them. I found my first interface bpc in a 0.2, and that was when they were v. rare.

I think CCP completely blew it on data interfaces. Over time, there will just end up being no point to them - they are redundant to the skills because you can use them as many times as you want with as many people as you want, and they never get used up or put at risk. It's less restrictive than the skills, which any job starter needs.
What's the point given how flooded the market is with BPCs now? It's all growing supply and shrinking demand.

I hope they don't increase the drop rate of the dang things. I already have at least 4 of each of the occult interfaces already built that aren't even worth selling anymore as the market is flooded.
