Actually, I'm not so sure...
- Agents dishing out bonuses like candy + mission completion ending in error.
- Imbalanced standing loss for mission failure.
- Trash Item not trashing.
None of this mentions losing standings because of NOT ACCEPTING missions, which is the point of the topic I linked to, above.
Please feel free to let me know if I'm still missing something.
Thanks, -Victoria

I think this is a comepletely different bug, and probably wasn't fixed by the others.
Now that doesn't mean it hasn't been fixed already, they don't need to create a dev blog entry for every update. (Perhaps they are waiting for a couple more fixes before posting another?) ------------------- Basic truths? Idiots make us rich. - Some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them. |

Quote: The penalty for turning down a mission appears to have been reduced to very nearly zero - at least, it was for the two i had to turn down. Whereas ignoring the mission offer and letting it expire, WILL hurt.
That was someone's post from around 1.5 hours ago. I would like Zrakor to tell us what the real story is.

Mine. I speak from personal experience, but of course, others' experiences might be difference, and you might think I'm a liar anyway.
Zrakor did post earlier that he had told Whatsisnamethemissioncoder to turn down the penalty for declining a mission. No harm in him posting it again, or a link to the message, since I've completely forogtten where it was.

Hi Baldour,
Thanks for popping in on this thread.
Even the idea that only a little standing is lost (very nearly zero, as you say) is odd when compared with the "old way"...since we at least were able to see the offered mission before it was, well, offered.
Now, I can see that there were "realism" issues with the way it used to be...after all, I never trained "Mind Reading Level 5", so how did I know what the agent was going to ask me to do before he actually asked me.
However, given the "unrealistic" nature of many missions in the EVE universe, I guess it all balanced out.
So what I'm wondering now is: Is this the way it is supposed to be? If Zrakor could just pop in and say to us...
"Hey, you have got to accept or decline these missions people...you'll get SCREWED with obscene loss of standings and get a ton of spam to boot if you don't."
...Well, I'd just feel a bit more secure with my new agent relationships.
Thanks again for your post.

I still can't use my old agent, did a mission for her and after that she wants me to find someone lower down on the ladder. It was 2 days ago and still no change...
...and with the light all life vanished... |
